I bought the Hamilton Beach Easy Reach 1400 toaster oven as a gift because I purchased one for myself about 6 months ago and am very pleased with its performance. I use it almost everyday. I have made brownies, pizza, toast, frozen meals, meatloaf, biscuits, Italian bread, rolls, roasted veggies, and warm up leftovers. It is especially useful to warm up crispie food items because they don’t get soggy like when using the microwave. My favorite feature is the timer. Least favorite feature is the convection. The drawbacks are the glass is difficult to clean from the inside and there is no light inside. Also, you have to be careful about the types of baking dishes you use, but I knew this before I made my purchase so I bought toaster oven-sized metal baking pans to use with this oven. This toaster oven exceeds my expectations.

It always takes a few uses to learn the best practices for any toaster oven, but so far I have successfully made cinnamon rolls, pizza, fruit bars, and plain old toast. Seems to cook evenly, just takes figuring out which height to put the rack at for certain items. I refuse to use our full-size oven during the summer, so have been using it frequently. Very pleased.

The slide out crumb catcher is what sold me. I had a toaster oven previously that was difficult to clean with lots of ledges and spots only a small hand could go. I’m happy that this one will be easier to keep tidy. My son is also in awe with the door. It slides up instead of pulling down. I enjoy that I’m not reaching over hot glass to grab my food.. It also has a smaller foot rpint on my counter than my last one. Overall a great product.
