This is my first toaster oven and I don’t know I have lived without one. I am a widower so I live alone and this four slice oven is just perfect for me. It does so much. Of course I have made toast in it, baked pork chops, and even grilled a steak just to see how it would turn out and everything came out perfect. But the best thing I have found so far is reheating leftover pizza. The microwave makes the crust soggy so it takes away the taste of the pizza but the toaster oven heats it up and keeps the crust firm like it should be. The dials are easy to use and plainly marked. The only thing I don’t like is that the top of the oven gets hot but I understand that the heat has to go somewhere. Other than that this toaster oven is great. I can not compare it to others because this is the only one I have ever used. I highly recommend this one. Good design and easy to use. Plus it does not take up too much counterspace.

Really good toaster oven. Easy to understand instructions. Two potential shelves which is really nice. Sometimes it toasts unevenly. The timer is noisy which can be annoying because then i have to wait for my roommate to wake up to use it.

The Hamilton Beach 4-slice toaster oven is attractive, compact, and would fit well on any counter top. For bagel lovers, the bagel toaster is a very nice feature. The oven maintains an even temperature. The toaster toasts English muffins well, although standard breads toast somewhat unevenly. The removable crumb catcher is handy feature. However, II think that for older people, or people with vision problems, larger control dials would be an improvement. Overall, I am very pleased with the performance of the Hamilton Beach 4-Slice Toaster Oven. And I think it is a great value.

This toaster oven is good for what it claims to do. It is a smaller toaster oven, but it still performs nicely and does quite a bit. It would be fantastic for one or two people. I agree with the “start lighter and tweak” manual recommendation for toasting. The manual made the timer function seem more awkward than it actually is. The biggest issue I had with the unit is that there need to be a removable sticker/label sealing the door closed that states that is a 10 minute preheat “burn in” prior to the first use. Yes, it is in the manual. However, if it is not your first toaster oven, you may not be inclined to check the manual for a slice of toast. I read the manual thoroughly prior to first use and knew what to expect. I could see someone wanting to take it back to the store as defective if they glossed over that important piece of information though.

This is the first toaster oven I have ever used and I don’t know why I never used one before! I cooked a pizza, made toast, cooked fish,reheated leftovers,etc.. The pizza cooked perfectly in this little oven, I was so impressed with it. It cooked just as good as if it was in a regular oven except it was so much easier. It did an awesome job with my toast as well. It crisped things up just as I hoped it would. Very easy to use, the door goes up so it’s not in your way when you take hot food out of it and because it does you can access your food while it’s cooking.I just think that it’s a great cooking tool to have in your kitchen!! The only thing I have to comment about is the tray. It seemed to leave some residue or something on it after cooking the toast. Didn’t totally clean up(even after referring to the manual about cleanup).Overall it is a great, great, great product!!!!!!!!!!! Won’t be cooking much in the big oven anymore!!
