Second oven convenience with bagel toasting technology. Perfectly sized to fit a 9 in. pizza, but not too big to be a countertop mainstay, the Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven’s 5-cooking settings gives you the flexibility to make just about anything. Toast, bake, warm and broil a variety of foods. You can also toast bagels to perfection – a special setting toasts just the cut side of the bagel and warms the round side. With a shiny, stainless steel exterior and curved front, this oven will be a sophisticated staple in your kitchen. Easy to use, chrome-plated dials allow complete control of temperature, timer and toast shade. Choose from a 30-minute timer or a stay-on setting that’s perfect for when you’re batch cooking. I received this 4 slice toaster oven on the 1st of October. I have put it through its paces as best I could. First of all, read the instructions as they all vary. I started out with making toast. I would have preferred less steps to make toast. You have to set the temperature to the highest setting of 450 degrees. Then you have to turn the timer to 10 minutes and then right back to the tiny little toast diagrams to set how dark you want your toast. It does the job, not all that even, but all toaster ovens seem to toast in that manner, I am used to that. Also, it only accommodates 2 slices of bread, not 4, but they all do that. If they say 6 slice, it only holds 4. I baked biscuits in it and they turned out fine. This oven is great for small spaces and/or a single person. One thing that I do like is the rack has brackets underneath of it so you can slide the broiler pan in for broiling or a drip tray…very practical for a tight space. I am a single person, so it makes sense for me to use this for myself versus heating up a big oven. I also don’t eat alot of bread so this is more practical then having a separate toaster to take up space. It does have a fairly short cord, so take that into consideration if that would be a problem for you. So if you are looking for a small toaster oven, I would recommend this oven. It is stylish and fits in with most decor. I cannot attest to longevity as I have not had it long enough to give an opinion.

I’ve only had it for a few weeks, so can’t comment on its reliability. But it seems well-made and easy to use. My only surprise upon receiving it was how small it is. Yea, I saw its EXTERIOR dimensions. But the inside barely holds two slices of bread. It would be helpful if Home Depot would publish its INTERIOR dimensions, or at least its cubic foot capacity, so I could compare it with competing models.

This is the first time I have owned a toaster oven. It is a nice size to fit on my counter without taking up a lot of room. I have made 4 slices of toast and they came out great. Last night I baked potatoes and they also came out great. I know that this oven will come in handy in the summer months and over the holidays when a little extra oven space is needed. I would say this appliance is a nice addition to my kitchen.

Great toaster oven minus one star as the dials are a little hard to read.

The Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven is a great addition to my kitchen. The toaster oven is a good size and doesn’t take up too much space on my countertop, which is a huge plus for me. It’s easy to operate and there is an auto shut-off. I like that it contains two rack settings. So far, bread and bagels are toasted quickly, perfectly, and evenly. I also use the toaster oven to heat up frozen waffles as well as back snacks and small dish meals for my family. I recommend this product.

A beautiful toaster with aluminum cover. It works fast and efficiently. It says it holds four slices of bread but I could only get two with space around each piece. It still has a large area. I like the different modes of cooking and the choices of cooking. Baking, bagel, broil, toast and one other. The manual does warn about the outside getting warm. It is wise to keep children away from the toaster as the manual warns. I had a similar toaster many years ago and this is so much better than that one. This is a fine choice of a toaster oven.

Tried every function of this appliance, and I can unequivocally report this is superior to any toaster oven, and there have been many and more expensive that I have used in the past.

We bought this oven when our Black & Decker died (after 15 years or so of service). We like some of the features of the Hamilton Beach, but found that in its most important function to us – making toast – it is slower than the B&D and provides less-even toasting. The stainless steel dials are also difficult to read (though I’m sure we’ll memorize the positions shortly). We expected more out of Hamilton Beach!

Everyone in the family is able to use this toaster oven with ease. My 7 year old likes to make her own nuggets, with supervision of course.

I got this about a week ago and it’s been great so far! I love the stainless steel, it fits perfectly in my kitchen and matches my other appliances. I love that this takes the place of a traditional toaster but can also be used to cook or reheat certain foods and it’s quicker than using my big oven. The preset buttons on it toast bread/toast to the perfect shade of brown. I will be using this on a daily basis for sure.

This is a great compact design that takes up very little space on your countertop which was important to me. I have all stainless appliances and it goes great with them. It’s user friendly, heats up quickly, and is superb for small jobs where you want crispy and not microwaved. The only thing I wish is that it had a heat resistant shield on top of the toaster oven. The top gets very hot. Be careful!
