I found this product not particularly ideal for our needs. This unit would serve a person that did not need a full size toaster oven, but more suited for those requiring space saver needs. Example, a college dorm room. The “Pros” are are as mentioned for those needing a compact cooking device. However, separate pop up toast capability is great. No need to risk burning hand removing toas from inside the oven. Easily maintained and portable. The “Cons are obvious. Limited content capability. No convection feature. Has a tendency to cook faster than our normal size Hamilton Beach toaster oven. Example, frozen biscuits were done in half the time the cooking directions called for. If we did not look while the biscuits were cooking, they would have burned at the time suggested by Pilsbury directions.

I got this 2 in 1 oven and toaster with the main idea of putting it in our RV to save space. I have been using it in my main kitchen too. It is very easy to use. There is a slider type button to switch from toaster to oven. One thing I discovered is it can hold 3 slices of bread or 4 smaller muffins,etc in toaster, which is a time saver for breakfast. I am new to baking in oven, so have heated up leftovers with no problem. Easy to use dials for controlling heat & time. The only concern may be it gets very hot so placement on counter needs to be considered. Overall, great appliance.

So happy with this oven & toaster! Would give it 4-1/2 stars if I could. Pros: Quiet – timer is just loud enough to hear it’s working but not too loud. A nice change from my previous toaster oven. Cooks evenly – whatever I made: toast, veggies, meat, it cooked evenly. Small footprint – it has a smaller exterior size than most toaster ovens keeping counterspace open. Easy to Use – only 2 dials to set temp/broiler & time. There is also a slide for choosing oven or toast and a level to depress to start toast. Crumb tray – easy to remove, clean and put back in. Cons: It needs a bit more interior height to cook a greater variety of foods. Even one inch would be great – then I would give it 5 stars. Also suggest adding a picture in “oven” mode on the packaging so it’s understood the toaster area slot closes.

Oven feature works very well, but the toaster doesn’t toast the bread evenly. The bottom of the bread is not toasted every time. The unit is very nicely decorated and looks great on our counter top.

I bought this wonderful device a few weeks ago and am so glad I did as it has replaced my toaster and my old toaster oven in one convenient device. I find myself using this for more food items every day and night as it takes up less counter space and does many more jobs. I just set the timer and temperature and I do pizzas and chicken nuggets (on the tray provided) for the grandkids when they visit or for friends that pop in. I baked a great cake the other day on a whim and it turned out great, so yesterday I tried a sweet potato pie and wow what a great job it did for me. I love a good toasted bagel in the morning and this 2-in-1 Oven and Toaster really does deliver a good bagel and I use the really fat ones which never fit in my old toaster. It is very easy to clean and catches all the crumbs in a handy slide out tray. I tried this out on my boat and enjoyed some broiled pork chops on the tray provided last night and they were done to perfection, and clean up was fast and easy, everybody needs one of these Hamilton Beach 2-in-1 Oven and Toaster’s in their home, RV, or boat.

This is a nice space saving oven and toaster suitable for one or two people. I’ve cooked stuffed mushrooms, broiled chicken wings, and pizza bagels. The temperature seems to be consistent with options of warm – broil and 200-400 degrees. The toaster feature that is located on top is also a nice touch eliminating the need for two appliances. It’s a nice-looking solid stain finish and the pull out crumb tray on the bottom makes it easy to clean. This will be a nice addition and space saver for your counter as long as you’re not looking to make a large amount of items.
