This product is for you, if like me, you put off purchasing an air fryer because you were afraid that it would be just one more appliance taking up space in your kitchen. It is similar to a toaster oven in that it can bake, broil, toast. It even has convection setting. But what makes it really special is the Air Fry feature! One of my main reasons for wanting an air fryer was to make healthy food easily and quickly. Upon opening the box I set out to find a simple recipe to make using the air fry setting. A recipe for sweet potato chips caught my interest. With just a touch of oil, salt, and pepper, a single sweet potato was transformed into a snack of healthy crisp sweet potato chips that took about 15 minutes in the oven. I was hooked! The air fry basket is larger than many of the single use Air Fryer products on the market. It was easy to clean too! (No sticking.) The other features of the oven have proven to work as expected with no complaints. The oven knobs are nicely sized. They are large and substantial making it easy to change settings. The oven is attractive with a stainless steel coat. One thing to note is that the oven is larger (taller) than a toaster oven and will take up space on the counter. That’s fine by me as it’s an appliance that has earned a spot in my kitchen.

We received the Hamilton Beach Air Fryer Countertop Oven a week ago. Since then, we’ve made pizzas, wings, and empanadas in the unit…everything was delicious! Cannot believe food cooks so quickly…and even better, there is LESS fat, and MORE flavor. The appliance is quite a bit larger than my former toaster oven, but that is logical, as it can DO sooooo much more! It would really be handy if you had limited space in your kitchen, as it can replace your other appliances. Also…it’s quite an attractive design. I haven’t had the opportunity to test out it’s full cooking capabilities, but I certainly plan on doing so – next up…homemade bagels. To my surprise, I actually read the complete user manual to ensure I implemented best practices. Do yourself a favor – make this your next kitchen purchase!

The toast was toasted evenly front to back, top & bottom. My cookies baked evenly. The steak I broiled was perfect throughout & the chicken & potatoes I air fried were crispy on the outside and moist & chewy on the inside. This product is top notch!

The Hamilton Beach Air Fry Counter Top Oven is one amazing product. It is compact, well designed and easy to use. It does not generate much heat at all, which will be great during the summer months. Clean up is easy as well, since there are two different catch trays for drips and crumbs. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. The interior is a great family size.Lumpia rolls were the first item that I tried out using the Air Fryer feature. The air fryer basket holds an amazing amount of rolls. They were cooked at 400 degrees for 20 minutes and came out crunchy on the outside, and moist and juicy on the inside. I was surprised at how well the air fryer made “fried food” without oil. The only difference between air frying and deep frying was no oily feel to the lumpia rolls, and they were a lighter brown color.Next I made fried chicken drumsticks, something that has not been in my diet for a long time. The drumsticks were rolled in panko crumbs and placed on the air fryer basket. I used a setting of 25 minutes at 400 degrees. As you can see by the photo, the drumsticks were crispy on the outside, juicy and fully cooked on the inside. I also prepared homemade rolled tacos in the air fryer, along with homemade zucchini rounds and potato rounds. They all were crispy, crunchy and decidedly tasty without oil of any kind. These were by far the healthiest fried foods I have had in ages. The oven feature works just as nicely. I baked up a couple batches of biscuits and they came out to perfection. However, it is the air fryer feature that I think I will use the most. It has allowed me to again enjoy crispy fried foods without the guilt of eating fats and oils. The interior of the oven stays quite clean and debris free, other than crumbs or drips. The catch trays clean easily. The exterior of the Air Fry Oven cools down quite quickly. This is a nice feature. Overall, this is one terrific product. A couple suggestions to note when using the Air Fry Counter Top Oven. The electric cord is a bit on the short side, so placement of the oven might be tricky. And do keep a small flashlight handy to peek at your food inside. It was hard to see how brown food items were getting without the flashlight. Otherwise, you will find this a delightful addition to your kitchen and a great way to once again enjoyed fried foods — the healthy way.

I absolutely loved this. It is a great size. You can cook almost anything in it. You can control the temperature and decide how crispy you want it. I have made chicken, fries, pizza and so much more in it. This is my new go to oven. Makes dinner quick and easy. Easy to clean also.

I really enjoy the Air Fry Countertop Oven. For Superbowl Sunday, we used three of the features and it was awesome! We did some air frying, toasting and broiling. Made it “super” nice because the number of dirty pans was minimal. (The pans do clean very easily!). For air frying, you will want to follow the Hamilton Beach recommendations, and not those on the food package. We noticed that air frying takes about two or three times longer than oil. I am OK with that, personally, because I do not like the oil mess and I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have been burned by oil splatters through the years. Very neat all-in-one product. Not too large and not too heavy, either.

What a great product! So nice to have so many functions all in one appliance, now I don’t have to have several small appliances on my counter top. I’m able to use this oven instead of my home oven, which saves me money, and I use it daily!!

As a toaster oven owner for several years, I was excited to see that Hamilton Beach has a toaster oven with convection, bake and broil, but that it also includes an air fryer function! On my bucket list so I ordered it right away. Price is comparable to other units but I wanted the Hamilton Beach and have had them for over 40 years! HB has a great reputation with me!Upon arrival, the outside shipping box was damaged, and the inside box was also damaged. The oven was packed securely in the package. When I pulled the oven out of the box, the racks and pan were shipped in plastic bags inside the box and not the oven. The damaged portion of the boxes was enough force to bend the edge of the baking pan that slides on the guide to insert it. Originally all the racks slid with difficulty but after heating the unit they slide easily.First thing I usually look for on a new kitchen toy is the instruction manual. Hamilton Beach doesn’t have one! It is a map folded type of brochure in different languages. Everything is together one after another. That said, there is bold type to find each category. Each operation of the unit is explained clearly. Again, I wish it was a booklet that is easier to store and use for reference. I will put this in a small zippered plastic storage bag to keep it handy. The unit fits in the same space as my old toaster oven and plugged in quite easily as cord is ample length to safely plug in a convenient place. Next, control knobs…Each is nice, smooth and attached securely. No chance of cutting a finger on any edges. All the markings are easy to see and read, except on the middle knob…which is the temperature knob. At the very bottom is the Toast/Broil selection. The marker stops just before those words. My thought is, is it supposed to? Is it calibrated properly so that all the temp settings are in the correct location on knob? The first knob is the selection of Bake, Broil, Air Fry, Toast, and Convection Bake. That knob when turned clicks on to each selection. Great feature! I am a fan of knobs that turn and not the electronic touch pads. So, this is a plus to me! The third knob is the timer. It works just like a regular little kitchen timer. Turn the knob past 10 and then to the desired cook time. Easy enough! So, after rinsing and drying the racks and pans, I slid them in and out of the unit. They fit snug. Snug means they do not slide out easily. When they heat up, I was certain the expansion will not let me easily slide the rack without using a potholder. Typically, I use a fork to pull it out some. Well, a surprise, the racks slide much easier! Another plus! The first thing I made was toast. Easy enough to set on Toast, light or dark toast. I went with light. So it starts to heat up and there is no illumination inside! It is difficult to see the inside items cooking! Did someone want to cut corners or did they just forget. My prior toaster ovens always had a light. Since I couldn’t see well inside it, the toast burned before the timer went off. Ugh…and that was the light setting. Next time I will try a lighter setting. The next day I made perfect toast!!The next test is dried apple chips. I found an easy recipe online, that suggests baking on 300 degrees to remove excess moisture first before air frying them. I did the 5 minutes preheat as suggested for the oven function. It did warm up and per instructions put the tray under the air fryer basket to catch drips. It got the moisture out of them quickly! Then I switched to air fry to finish them up. Wow! That fan is powerful!! Again I wish it had an interior light to see what is happening so I don’t open up and lose heat. The temp seems a tad high as my chips were ready so quick and didn’t take as long as recipe indicated. This is second thing that cooked really fast. I will need to lower temp when cooking. Again, there needs to be a light inside to be able monitor.I have tried making sweet potato chews for the dog and after 2 batches still need to experiment. They either burn or are undercooked. I had better success in my range oven. I made pork chops…about ¾”thick. Followed directions online…they were a bit crunchy inside but I think that is because they didn’t have enough marbling to make them moist.I will keep experimenting to figure out the air fryer portion. If you need a toaster oven and want the bonus of an air fryer then this is a good purchase for you. If you want it just for the air fryer, I would suggest to check out the individual air fryers, which would be easier to store. Plus: Fits in space of a regular toaster oven, makes great toast and oven heats well.Cons: Needs an interior light!!

The air fry countertop oven is powerful, with versatile oven functions. The fryer basket is large to accommodate a bigger amount of food and does not confine you to a small round basket. The oven is just the perfect size for a small family, I use it every day and it is really easy to clean. Very happy.

Got the oven last week and tried it last night on haddock fillets. My wife commented on how well it browned the surface and cooked the interior without drying it out! Fits perfectly on our counter-top and is quick and easy to clean up! This is a great addition to our stable of Hamilton Beach appliances

First off, this air fryer toaster oven has so many functions: toast, broil, air fry, convection oven, & bake! It comes with a crumb tray, pan, oven rack, and air frying basket so you’re ready to go. We followed the instructions to run it empty for 10 minutes to before using it to make sweet potato fries. In our oven, they take forever and come out mushier than I’ve ever liked, but these were crispy after 20 minutes at 400! So good with a side of bbq sauce! I can’t wait to try out potato wedges! My husband used the air fry basket to do frozen wings/drumsticks last night & they turned out great! It gets quite warm on the outside at the higher temperatures, so be aware of what it’s sitting next to. Don’t forget to check out their recipe bank! I’m expecting this to come in handy for summertime meals, as an alternative to heating the house up with the big oven! Check the dimensions! It was bigger than I thought it’d be!https://www.hamiltonbeach.com/recipes

My husband and I were just talking about mixing up the way we cook some foods and were talking about air fryers because they are supposed to be a little healthier for you since it’s not a full deep fryer so this came at a perfect time! I love that this fits nicely on our countertop and that the design goes with our appliances very well. I love that the pieces are so easy to clean and use. The controls are so easy to use as well so there really is nothing complicated about it. I love all the different settings and I love how fast it cooks things. There is really nothing bad to say about this product. It works just like it says it does and more! It’s better than we expected and we would definitely recommend it!

It’s a good option for an all in one toaster oven air fryer. It is noisy on air fry setting . If I had it to buy again I would probably opt for digital controls. It does air fry quite good. Toaster setting is ok not great.

I used this air fryer for cooking pizza, bacon, and reheating french fries. It does a very good job it gets very hot and the french fries come out great when air fried. For most people this will work fine you will have the space and enough electrical plugs to make this fit on your counter. The rotary dial knobs are something that should last a long time, you will have to go back in time to use them which i didn’t mind. The length of the cord is ridiculous it is the same length as your toaster cord except this thing is 10 times the size. You will have to clear a big spot on your counter and some space around it, this oven gets hot or carry it around every time you use it which isn’t a big deal it is just the cord length that limits your choices.

I like that you can cook so many things with one appliance and the large size lets you cook a lot. I have made French fries, chicken drumsticks, and potato wedges in the air fryer and baked a package of cookies with the convection oven. The potato items turned out the best I would say. I had to put a couple drumsticks back in due to not having cooked as much as the others. I think items with all the same thickness do best in air fryers. I had also coated them with Panko crumbs and since the fryer keeps running when you open the door to check on items, it blew crumbs around and created a bit of a mess. Some of this may be my fault as I am a novice with air fryers. I do think it would be nice if the fryer shut off when you opened the door and then resumed. Also a light inside would be extremely useful. The directions that come with the unit are misleading. They say to put the rack in and then set the baking pan on that. There is no way that works. The pan is the same width and is really designed to slide in where the rack also slides. The controls are easy to use and some might say old school, but I sometimes find old school much easier when cooking than using digital items and going through a bunch of confusing steps. The oven is quite attractive. It is large but not too heavy so you can store it if you have a place and get it out if you don’t like it setting on your counter all the time. It heats up quickly and much better than using your big oven all the time. You will be able to cook a lot in this oven. So far cleaning the pans has been easy also.So overall the oven works and looks fine, but I do wish it had an interior light and shut off when checking on air fried items.

This was my first experience using an air fryer. I was pleasantly surprised at how crispy the food was. The HB air fryer counter top oven has a nice looking stainless finish. It’s easy to use and has a spacious interior. The air fryer basket is large and can hold enough food to feed a family of four. It also comes with a crumb tray, baking broiler pan and oven rack. You can use it to bake, toast and broil in addition to air frying. It has three knobs that are easy to use like on a toaster oven. It’s a great alternative to turning on the oven. It was easy to clean.I would recommend this as a nice addition to your kitchen.
