My biggest cooking try in my Hamilton Beach Convection oven was 2 Cornish Game Hens weighting 52 oz. total. I sprayed rack and pan with Pam. Preheated oven 5 min. Without having a recipe book I had to guess. I put it on 350* on convection. I put the hens side by side on the rack. Cooked them for 45 min. Checked them and that wasn’t enough. Cooked them for 10 more mins. and juices ran clear. Don’t forget to turn hens upside down to brown bottom. I forgot. I found out after cutting it apart the meat next to the bone was still pink so probably another 10 min. would do. The hens were really delicious and had good flavor. Will do this again. The oven itself is very pretty. Being older I had a problem seeing the numbers around the knobs with the light shining on the silver metal. There was a glare for me. The handle curves away from the oven so you won’t get burnt. I loved that. It’s fun to use and no bending over to peek at your food while cooking.

The oven was the right size for my counter. I haven’t baked anything in it yet. One of the knobs says Air Fry which confused me as I thought it was a convection oven. The top gets really hot, so grasping the oven door handle places you at risk for burning the back of your knuckles. The delivery was quick from Home Depot.

A basic toaster oven but with a big difference. This oven utilizes “convection” cooking which allows food to cook more evenly in LESS cooking time. The controls are clearly marked and easy to operate. Lightweight and fits on counters with limited space.

I haven’t utilized all the features but I did bake a skinless chicken breast and it came out nice and tender and juicy. I will be using this instead of my bulky gas oven..I wish it had a handle for the pan and rack like the old models used to have. All in all this is a great little appliance.

I had a smaller toaster oven that had seen it’s better days,, so I was anxious to try a new improved version. First, it looks great on my counter, and since I have limited space this model doesn’t take up much more room, fits great. I like to reheat leftovers in a toaster oven and not have to turn on my big oven. There are only 2 of us so I can put several different leftovers in at one time. It did a great job toasting my morning bagel, and the convection oven speeds up reheating a bit. I was impressed with how quiet the fan is when using convection mode. Very well satisfied overall. The only feature that I miss is that my old one had 2 hooks on the door that the oven rack clipped onto, when I opened the door the rack came out. But as the interior on this one is larger hasn’t been an issue. I do like that I can put in toast or bagels for both of us so we can eat breakfast at the same time, instead making toast him him, then mine. Overall a great little, useful oven. .

Have had this beauty for about a week now and absolutely love it. It fits in the same footprint as my old 4 slice toaster, but adds so much more in the way of features! Not only toasts, but heats up extremely fast for its baking feature. Perfect for small baking needs, reheating things when the microwave just won’t do and frozen waffles are so much better co ing out of this baby. Would not hesitate to get this again.

I love this toaster oven. It has a pull out tray on the bottom for easy cleaning of food that drops to the bottom. It has convention, bake, broil & toast. One thing to be careful about is to wait until it’s preheated when using convention or bake because it heats up fast and your food may burn while pre-heating. The only thing that could be improved on is a longer timer. The timer only goes to 30 minutes. However this is not a big issue as there is a “Stay on” function so you could always use an external timer for food that takes longer than 30 minutes to cook. It’s very attractive on our couter top. I found the Hamilton Beach 6 Slice Convection Oven slightly disappointing. As an older individual I found the print to be hard to see. It would be beneficial to have lights to tell what feature is being used and also the temperature reached. My test was to broil four hamburgers for me family. Once I plugged in the oven and selected the broil feature, I found it confusing I had to select the toast mode to get my broil feature. The oven was hard to tell when it had reached the broil temperature. Following the suggested time for broiling of hamburgers, I found the burgers to be still pink in the middle. It may have been my fault since my family enjoy a thicker burger. The design of the unit is nice and not too bbig but not too small. Choice of levels to place the racks is useful too when choosing what mode of cooking. Would I recommend it to family or friends, I would tell them it depends on what they intend to use it for.

It works well. Seems a little hot, but I guess I need to get used to it. What I do not like is the shape; the way it sticks out in the middle of the back. It would be better if the whole thing was that deep. I keep trying to push it back closer to the wall. A very strange configuration.

Browns toast on both side to perfection. Being an owner of a poorly made Emeril Power Airfryer 360, that cost more than 3 times the price of this Hamilton Beach product, that the burners stop heating up 15 days past the 90 day warranty. This Hamilton Beach toaster oven comes with a 1 year warranty, which to me says that the makers are more confident in their product than someone that only offers a 90 day warranty. I love that it allows cooking of 12″ pizzas keeping me from having to use a large oven. I would recommend this over the over priced competitors any day!
