First off this oven has really great heat control and to my findings is pretty darn close to each heat setting, kudos here for that. Before you buy this oven do make sure that you have the counter space for it. It measures 9 ” high by 14″ deep and 17″ wide. As well consider that you need some breathing room above this oven as it can get pretty warm when operating on high heat settings especially for longer periods. Appearance wise I like the Stainless look to this oven. It goes with about any decor. And the outside is easy to clean. The parts and features are to my liking. I like having a crumb tray to catch crumbs of course but also any small spills or oozing from cooked food. The all purpose broiler pan is a must. As this oven is primarily a toaster you have to get used to the 3 rack levels for proper use. When toasting only two pieces of bread you must use the bottom rack level and center the pieces of toast on same for best results! When toasting bagels , English muffins and waffles you need to use the middle rack position for best results as well as when you are going to toast six pieces of bread at once, and when doing so you will find that you need to use a darker toast setting which applies more heat for a setting than you would for only two slices. When toasting toaster pastries or frozen pastries you revert back to the lower rack. The controls on this oven are all manual no electronics here. And I for one like the simplicity of that. I subscribe to the “keep it simple stupid” ideal. In using the controls that credo is apparent. One for temperature control, one for selection of operation from warm to broil to bake and also toast. The final control is for the timer operation. Here an electronic one may have been better. I say this in that when you set the timer you must rotate the dial PAST the point of desired time and then counterclockwise back to the time for proper timer operation. The timer dial has a nice feature where you can press in two buttons on the side and turn the dial properly past and then back to the stay on position for use on longer then the 30 minute limit of the dial. My hint here is if you have an electronic timer on your nearby conventional oven like I do you can use that timer for your cooking purposes. Just remember to turn off the timer on the oven when you are done cooking. I have tried almost all facets of operation of this oven but have not baked which started with a batter. The broiler works really well and I do recommend lining the tray with aluminum foil for easier cleanup. Use the top rack position for broiling as directed and watch your food carefully for burning. And don’t forget to turn your food over at the half way mark for proper cooking. Unlike my conventional oven when broiling with this toaster oven I don’t feel the need or are you directed to leave the door open when broiling. Actually with the door closed there is no spattering to contend with. This oven does have a much higher heat output then your conventional 2 or 4 slice toaster oven and the cavernous capacity lends itself to more of the baking and broiling duties that you would have to use a conventional oven for. I really recommend this oven to those of you who have the counter space and want to save the heating costs of running a conventional size oven vs. the lower operating expense of this very versatile 6 slice toaster oven.

I received this product about a week ago and I have used it 3 times….once to keep burgers warm, once to cook chicken nuggets and this morning to toast bagels for breakfast. My bagel as you can see came out perfect! The chicken nuggets i made yesterday for lunch came out juicy and when I kept my burgers warm in it, it melted the cheese while i was waiting on my fries to finish in the oven. My only suggestion to improve this product would be to make the electrical cord longer as the cord is short and I had move things around in my kitchen to plug it in and use it. All around wonderful and versatile product!!! love it!

Attractive and functional, this 6 slice toaster oven is a welcome addition to my kitchen. The stainless exterior blends in perfectly with my stainless appliances. The oven interior is roomy, and has 3 adjustable rack positions. A baking pan and easy to understand user manual is included.I was particularly impressed by the footprint of the appliance. I am happy to regain a few more inches of valuable counter space. Manual Controls are easily legible, and easy to operate. The unit bakes, toasts and broils. This model does not have a convection feature, butthat was not a deal breaker for me, as my range has that feature.The unit heats up quickly, and I have made great toast, and heated bagels with no issues. I received my Hamilton Beach 6-Slice Toaster Oven about 2 weeks ago and I am ecstatic! So far I have tried the toast option, which worked great. We cooked a pizza and it was yummy. We have also made chicken tenders and chicken quesadillas.It does exactly what it says it will do and I can keep my kitchen cool I am so happy that I have this as I really hate to use the oven because it heats up our kitchen so bad. .The size is perfect for us as there is just myself and my husband unless our Grandsons come over for a visit and they can now make their snacks in it and it is easy to clean up. I don’t think anybody can go wrong with one of these. I can’t wait to try some more recipes in it. Heck who knows; maybe my oven will become obsolete!
