The Hamilton Beach 5 Tray Digital Food Dehydrator is the perfect tool to preserve foods for later use. Use to dry the season’s harvest for meats, making jerky and a variety of snacks. Ideal for making banana chips, fruit rollups, dried herbs, fruits and vegetables. The adjustable digital thermostat lets you adjust the drying temperature from 100-160° and has a 48 hour timer with automatic shut off. The continuous air flow provides even drying for better taste. Includes one fine-mesh sheet for drying small foods like herbs and one solid sheet for making fruit roll ups.

I have used this everyday for a week and it works great. It has a solid bottom tray for fruit rolloup and a tray for smaller items. I so far it has worked good on rosemary, garlic, and onions.

I wanted to purchase one or more extra liners for fruit leather and another fine- mesh tray for small herb leaves and citrus zest, but couldn’t find them separately, only in a complete set, including an extra cover. I have an extra large Excalibur for big jobs, but really like this product for size, ease of use and compact storage.
