I recieved this Slowcooker and immediately put it to the test. I like to make healthy dinners for my family. Due to a full time career and many outside activities I wasn’t able to cook every night. Now, with the Hamilton Beach Slowcooker, I can prepare and start my dinner in the Slowcooker before I leave for work. To date, I have prepared a 4 pound. chicken and dumplings, a roast with vegetables and French Onion Soup. I did use the enclosed directions and recipe book that showed me all the options of this product. The other great option of this cooker is the meat probe. My family likes their Roast cooked medium. Using the probe guarantees that my meats will not overcook. On Friday nights, myself and my son volunteer for a group that feeds the homeless. I am thrilled my cooker is portable and is easy to trasnport to the park we serve in. My French Onion Soup has always been a hit with my family. Due to lack of time to cook, I can now serve delicious soup or any hot dish every night Cleanup is also a breeze.. Hamilton Beach “hit it out of the ballpark” with this Temp Tracker Slowcooker. Very pleased with all the features.

Right out of the box I was pleased with the size and design of this unit.Make no mistake, this is a big slowcooker that will work well for family meals or social occasions that involve you bringing a hot dish to share.While the unit is attractive, what matters far more to me is that the handles and locking lid make it easy and safe to move when full. As someone who still recalls the catastrophic spills that often occurred with slowcookers of yore, the more secure lid and handles are a dream come true.Looking beyond first impressions, the next thing I discovered about this unit was that it does way more than I expected it to. While I haven’t tried every feature out yet, I’m looking forward to discovering how well it works for things like sous vide cooking and yogurt making.If there was one thing I would add to this cooker, it would be some sort of attached lid cradle. However, that’s not really a flaw so much as something I wish they’d add to future models.Overall this is a pretty great slow cooker that I expect to get a lot of use out of.

I’ve been using slow cookers for decades, there is nothing quite like putting a roast or chicken and vegatables in the pot, putting on the lid, turning the pot on and forgetting about it for 6-8 hours.This model with its digital display, temperature probe and locking lid is just a step above. My name is Bob and I am a Slow Cooker HOARDER (I now have 5). Many of these will be leaving my house as the “Temp Tracker Slowcooker” does everything. It works at every temp setting — Warm, Low, Med, High, Temp Mode (w/probe) and even has Sous Vide settings. The controls are incredibly simple and intuitive with just a knob and a screen. Everything is clearly explained in the manual, as well.The construction is great. It has a ceramic liner (the only ones I’ll use) with easily grabbed tabs. The lid has 3 probe insertion holes, a thick gasket and a locking handle. That handle and the locking mechanism is the sturdiest setup I have yet to encounter and it includes a great probe storage spot.So far I have cooked a whole Chuck Roast and a Kielbasa/Cabbage/White Bean stew. They both came out perfectly and I can’t wait to try Sous Vide cooking. As I mentioned above, come on over if you want a free Slow Cooker. I’m getting rid of 3 of my 5. I’m only keeping my 4qt model, since there’s only 2 of us.

I use my slowcooker several times a week for many different recipes. I’ve cooked chicken, beef, pork, pasta, soup, sauces and more in it and everything has turned out great. This slowcooker can be used with or without the probe and it cooks on low, medium, high with a warm setting. My old crockpot did not have a medium setting, so I’m loving this feature. If you program a time to cook, once the time is up it will automatically switch to warm. My absolute favorite feature is the locking lid. So many times have I carried my full crockpot to an event and I have spills and burns from the lid sliding off. This is GREAT that it locks in place. It’s very easy to use and very easy to clean. I do also have to say that I love that I can hold a certain temperature setting. I would recommend this crockpot, to me it is a must have.

I cooked an awesome roast in this slow cooker and knew exactly when it was ready due to the temperature probe. Awesome feature that takes the guesswork out of cooking a roast. I also love the clips that keep the lid in place when transporting food in the slow cooker. Those clips were a blessing when I took a full batch of mulled wine to a party.

I love this Slow cooker. It has so many different functions. I think my favorite is the temp tracker. Not only can I track the temp while making a roast but I can make yogurt! I don’t have to worry about using a pressure cooker or continually checking the temp. I also like that there are 4 different holes to place the temp probe making it easier to check the temp on what I am cooking. The size of the pot is larger than other slow cookers I have had and it is very easy to use. I am loving this slow cooker and will be using it a lot. This Hamilton Beach Advanced Temp Tracker™ Slow Cooker (MODEL 33867) has many features and is perfect when cooking a 6-lb Chicken or a 4-lb Roast. This oval 6-Qt Slow Cooker includes a Temperature Sensor Probe which stores within the glass lid’s handle. Securing the probe through the lid’s handle is easy since one side of the handle is made to view the storing process of the probe. The glass lid has a gasket seal and is equipped with three separate probe holes for accurate temperature readings (An additional probe insert is located on the crock). Another key attribute to this Slow Cooker are the two side handles which provide locking wire clips to firmly hold the lid in place while traveling (Never clip lid when storing unit / Always store unit with lid ajar). The outside of the Control Panel/Display has the probe jack and three control buttons CANCEL, KEEP WARM, HOLD TEMP. When the unit is turned on the display will show three cook settings LOW, MEDIUM and HIGH all of which have a programming time for up to 24 hours. Finally, the words “Hot Surface” are printed on the outside of the Slow Cooker for those who may be new to the kitchen!

After using the Hamilton Beach Temp Tracker Slowcooker, my mind has been completely changed! What’s not to love? This slow cooker’s ability to maintain accurate temperatures, leads to the perfectly cooked meal. No more burned or dried-out food. It’s also remarkably easy to clean and dishwasher safe. One of the features I like best is the clip-tight lid. So often we transport our cooker, and this ensures that the lid stays on securely without spills. This one gets a double thumbs up from me!

This hamliton beach temp tracker slow cooker is so great I really loved how easy this is to use and I always cook while I’m not home and now I can set the timer to cook when I’m not there and come home to a great meal and I like that it switches to keep warm when it’s done and the screen lights up a nice blue it’s very nice looking and super easy to use I like the temperature probe so now I always know when my meat is done it’s very convenient and modern looking it’s working great I love it and I definitely recommend this crockpot it’s made my life easier that’s for sure And it has heated the food perfectly and evenly and I love the lid it’s got a great nice big handle and a place to keep the temperature probe when not in use it makes it very convenient I love having a digital crockpot if it makes my dinners go more smoothly then I’m all for it.
