With three choices for easy, automatic cooking, having a family meal on a busy week night is possible. Sit down to juicy pot roast, savory roasted chicken, or pulled pork barbeque. What you make and how you cook it are up to you. Choose PROBE when cooking meats. Set the slow cooker to the desired meat temperature and it will automatically shift to warm when the temperature is reached. For soups or chili, choose PROGRAM and set the cooking time. It will switch to warm when the set time is complete. When you’re at home or able to monitor, MANUAL can be used. This setting allows you to choose high, low, or keep warm and the cooker will stay at that temperature. You can also insert the thermometer probe and the internal temperature of your meat will appear on the display as it cooks. Created to fit your lifestyle, this slow cooker is easy to use and a snap to clean.

I made a roast so far in it and the meat came out so tender! the thermometer was something i usually don’t use but having it made me want to use it and i love it! I have owned a few slow cookers over the years and this slow cooker is by far my favorite. There are several great features but my favorite is the temperature probe. It takes all the guesswork out of knowing when a whole chicken or roast is thoroughly cooked to your desired temperature. Simply set the probe temp and the unit will switch to warm when the selected temperature is reached. It is so easy and has given me added confidence, especially when cooking poultry. Another great feature is the intuitive control panel. It’s simple to use and instructions are very easy to follow. All you really have to do is “Set & Forget.” This is also the first time I have ever had a slow cooker with a clip-tight locking lid and a gasket around the rim of the lid that provides a nice, tight seal. They have really thought of everything.Overall, this slow cooker is THE BEST I have owned and I am very impressed. From the outstanding features to the attention to detail, you can tell this slow cooker is a quality product.

This Hamilton beach set and forget slow cooker is amazing. We been using it for 2 weeks, and when I said used it I mean every other day, this Christmas Eve was used again to cook some green beans and wow! everybody was amazed at how delicious they were. I will say I love how all the food gets cooked very well and keeps the food warm.The three choices, probe, manual and automatic are very easy to use and depending on your needs you can use the one you need.Setting the temperature is a breeze and the numbers are displayed in a very nice size easy to read.Love the kid! Seals great with plastic on it, and the handles are so easy to grab, great grip.The thermometer is a great addition compared to a regular slow cooker.The spoon that came with is works really good, perfect to stir and also to serve.Overall I love this product and I do recommend it if you want to upgrade your slow cooker game.

I was very pleased to see this slow cooking especially since COVID-19 has us cooking at home this is the useful thing I now own this cooker is awesome it came with the spoon a temperature probe and if that’s not enough it has a lid that you can lock for taking it on the go once we’re able to safely do that again but I am absolutely in love makes cooking easy the instructions explain everything you need to know I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a busy day and still has to cook dinner for the family and with the temperature probe you know it gonna be cooked to the temperature no over or under cooking yay

I used to have a very old, clunky, leaky crockpot that rarely saw the light of day. It never seemed to get warm enough, but then mysteriously burn on the bottom. I just didn’t understand the hype. This beautiful slow cooker is an entirely different beast, bringing easy and joy back to the art of home cooking.First of all, it’s user-friendly no matter your level of expertise. You simply turn it on, select the time, select the heat setting, and you’re done. You can just walk away and the appliance will do all the work for you. It lives up to the name! You can get on with your day and happily forget about dinner until it’s time to eat. Once it’s finished, it switches over to the warming setting so your food doesn’t spoil or overcook. This means that if you set it on a Friday night and want to sleep in Saturday morning, you can with complete peace of mind. If you are cooking a full chicken or some other big piece of meat, you can use the thermometer probe and set your own temperature you want maintained to make sure that meat is cooked properly. It also has one of those lids that locks down with simple lever clamps at each end take it with you; picnics, potlucks, here I come!I’ve used mine almost every day since I got it. If you have any doubts, just take the plunge- You won’t regret it!
