We’ve used this to make 2 meals so far, a pot roast & chicken breast. Both turned out pretty good although there is a learning curve as far as the cook time goes. I do wish there was a chart included with the instructions with recommendations for cook times vs pounds of different foods. When I sautéed the chicken breasts it splattered oil around the rim which is a little difficult to clean since the inner part of the pot doesn’t come out. Otherwise we enjoy using this & look forward to finding more recipes to try out!

I got the 6 Qt Pressure Cooker. We love it!!! So simple to use.My husband is recently retired and he has already cooked 4 meals in it, he is on internet daily looking for more recipes. Super easy to use and clean, and meals take a lot less minutes to cook. Great for people on the go, who wants to eat healthy meals.

The controls are very easy to operate. Easy clean up. I used it to make corned beef, cabbage, carrots, and then later added cabage. Since there are no recipe books included, I think there was some operator (me) error on the recipe. Machine worked great. My next meal in it will be italian beef which I know will be fantastic. Cooker is very nice, very happy with it. To make it perfect would be a recipe book with it.

This is probably the nicest of the 3 versions of Hamilton Beach’s electric pressure cooker, with a stainless steel exterior finish and a stainless steel removable cooking vessel. The slightly tapered profile (broader at bottom than top) is stable on the counter, and the pressure release button on the handle keeps one’s hand well away from the hot steam being released from the vent. I especially liked how easy the metal interior cooking vessel was to clean, even though it didn’t have an non-stick surface and I wasn’t able to use the cooking bags I normally use in my slow cooker. There are no recipes included in the manual; however, most recipes written for electric pressure cookers will work just fine with the Hamilton Beach pressure cooker. Over the weekend, I prepared a batch of meatball stew using the appliance’s slow cooker function, as well as BBQ ribs braised under pressure and finished in the oven, and both dishes came out fine. The Hamilton Beach pressure cooker does not include an air fryer function; however, I almost never use an air fryer, and prefer the smaller profile of a pressure cooker without an air fryer function. This 6-quart size may seem a bit large for a small family, but the leftovers from a dish were still very tasty when reheated the next day – and for a larger family, you probably won’t have leftovers! Highly recommended.

This is not just a pressure cooker but also a slow cooker, instant pot, and the ability to saute, sear, and brown meats. You can steam vegetables. The menu on the front of the machine is easy to read as well as the easy to set timer. Steam release provides the ability to control steam away from your hands. A seperate pan and rack is easy to clean and also to lift items being cooked. The side is great for large purposes as well as small. I’ve made beef stew and used it to brown my meat before adding my broth and vegetables to cook. Definitely a five star item.

I’ve really enjoyed using this multi function pressure cooker. At first I thought it would be complicated but its been so convenient during this time. You cancook anything in it and has capacity for large roasts, turkey too even a couple chickens. Veggies turn out tender and makes a great stew pot, and for Tamales! Thorough cooking and much quicker than traditional oven.

I have to say this is great and a true time saver. I have made cornish hen pork chops and chicken thighs and it was so simple and juicy. I love how quick it was done and how simple to use. I was able to throw my ingredients in press a button and walk away, it was wonderful. And with my son and his hectic schedule i was still able to give him a nutritious meal in no time. i wish i had this sooner.

Since we are all stuck indoors it was the perfect opportunity to get to that corned beef I bought awhile back. After washing out the cooker I tried a practice run on how it works like the directions suggested. It worked perfect. Then on to my corned beef. I followed a recipe I found on U-Tube, and pressure cooked the meat for two hours. I removed the meat after two hours, wrapped it in foil while I cooked the potatoes and cabbage for nine minutes. Everyone at the table agreed this was the best corned beef they ever had. Tender, very juicy, cut perfect (No falling apart into shreds) just great and the spuds and cabbage were tender and cooked to perfection. This is my first pressure cooker and I am so impressed. Everything was easy to use. Programming simple was simple. Press a few buttons and it was automatic from there. Clean up was super easy too. The stainless pot and inside lid was all to wash. I can’t say enough just how pleased I am at the great new kitchen appliance that will open a new method of wonderful cooking.

If you have never used a modern pressure cooker (sometimes referred to as instant pot), your cooking days will change forever! This replaces your rice cooker, steamer, slow cooker and sauce pan. This is the first one I have ever used, and after trying about a dozen recipes, I’m in love. The pot does everything but make ice cream (well, almost)! Before I go into the recipes I have made, I want to talk about all the features the Hamilton Beach has, The very best thing, I think, is its lid. Funny that should be my favorite, but it has a button you hold down on the top that lets you release the steam without going near the steam release valve. The steam coming out is very hot, and alot of the other manufacturers pots require you to actually touch the steam release value and turn it to release the steam. Very dangerous! This pot has all the technologically advanced features you could ever want. Programmable, easy adjustments, manual or pre-programmed button to cook, auto warming function, saute and browning setting, slow cook setting, You sear your meat right in the pot, no extra pan to wash. The same with sauteing veggies for your recipe. The lid has markings which allow you to line it up properly, and a safety feature that automatically locks the lid and keeps it locked until the pressure has decreased so it can be safely removed. The removable cook pot is easy to clean and has markings on the inside to guide you, so its not too full or not full enough. This prevents burning or overflowing, which is always a good thing! I have used this everyday since it arrived, and it was fully assembled, by the way, with the gasket already in place, and a spare included, along with all the accessories. The first thing I made was hard cooked eggs, which took a fraction of the time on the stove top, no cracked eggs, and peels just slide off. Then I moved up to boneless chicken breasts. Easy, easy, tender, moist and perfect. OK, now it was time to try spaghetti and meatballs, Dump everthing in the pot, including frozen meatballs, add water (you need that, for the spaghetti and the pressure), and just leave it alone. Perfect, and no collander, pot to boil the spaghetti, pot to heat the sauce, nothing but the cooker. In addition to clearing up counter space in my kitchen, it has rekindled my enthusiasm for cooking. I love my Hamilton Beach Pressure Cooker!

The Hamilton Beach multi function pressure cooker is a great gadget. One of my favorite functions is the steam release button. Never burn your hands again. The three heat settings means I don’t have to worry about burning or over cooking food. The roasting rack is wonderful as it keeps food out of the juices so food doesn’t end up soggy. With 10 different preset buttons you can cook anything from veggies to roasts. The insert is dishwasher safe so clean up is a breeze. It fits nicely on the counter and combines many products in one.
