I would like to thank Hamilton Beach Ambassador program for the opportunity to review the digital air fryer that we received. We were very excited to try it out to see how it could cut calories and use less oil with fried food preparation for meals and snack time. We have never tried an air fryer before but have seen a lots of TV advertisement for different products and were happy to test this product for the Hamilton Beach Ambassador program. The first item we tried were frozen cheese sticks for the kids and they turned out amazing. Our son and his 2 friends were over and we made several batches of frozen cheese sticks and they were amazed at how fast the snacks were ready to eat while the boys were playing their video games. Next we tried frozen pizza bites and they were just as good as the cheese sticks. They were dry and crispy when using the digital air fryer over using a conventional deep fryer which is how we have done our fried foods in the past. We also used to bake them in the oven which made them too hard.Next, we tried fried fish fillets and chicken tenders in the air fryer. I have to admit the chicken and the fish were frozen and not fresh but I have to say both came out amazing when we made them in the air fryer. The chicken tenders were crispy as if it was fried in iron skillet and the fish fillets were amazing. We also did frozen steak fries for the fish and just like the other items we have made in the air fryer they were crispy and great.Overall I would rate the Hamilton Beach Digital Air Fryer a 10 for quality and ease of use and the food taste great being kid tested and husband approved.

I got this about a week ago, because of my schedule I didn’t have a chance to use it for a few days and honestly I wasn’t sure how so I got a recipe from the website {Rib-Eye Steak with Gorgonzola cheese , the thing is the recipe says to turn the steaks half way through the cooking but when I turned them I couldn’t get the cooking to resume until the fryer cooled somewhat then I could get it to finish, the steaks were good but I should have been able to resume cooking right away instead of waiting to continue / I am sure there is a way but couldn’t find any thin in the instructions and customer service was closed when this happened and at this point with my schedule I haven’t had a chance to call during their hours , I am sure it is a simple solution and will continue to work with it other than that I really like it my only problem for now is I will try not to cook anything I have to turn over till I figure it out

Bought the Air Fryer for a couple of reasons: 1. My husband thought it would be great to use while ice fishing!! 2. I don’t like deep frying food, but like the results you get. First food we tried was tater tots – my son thought we deep fried!! Tried wings that already has sauce on them, they got a little “burnt”, so either I cooked too long or I shouldn’t have used wings that already had sauce – add after. I’m looking forward to trying many other foods. Highly recommend!!

Oh My Goidness! I have simply fallen in love with the Hamilton Beach Air Fryer! So easy to use. I love that it is digital and no dials to have to turn. You use minimal to no oil. First off I made frozen french fries follwed by chicken nuggets made from scratch! So good! Minimal time to cook and clean up. Found a recipe for a booming onion which I plan to make tomorrow. Can’t express how thrilled I am!!! If you want to make delicious, guilt free food then this is the product for you.

Every storage space in my kitchen is occupied, so adding a new appliance means something else goes to a storage closet. Out went the bread baker, and the Hamilton Beach Air Fryer moved in. It’s pretty big, and fairly heavy, but I’ll use it at least several times a week (maybe every day?) and all year long. Does it work? YES! You get fried crispness without an “oil bath.” The Air Fryer works so fast, the food it crisps is so good, and it cleans so easily. The included instructions are easy to read as is the digital display on the unit. It cooks food in minutes, even frozen food. I was concerned about cleanup, as in “fried equals big mess.” There is NO mess, because there is very little or no oil! The pan and removable basket have a non-stick coating so all they need is a swish with soapy water, a rinse and wipe. Using the Air Fryer to cook crisp food is FAST and EASY and the results are great!

I just got this appliance and I’m very happy at how it helps with putting a delicious dinner on the table in a timely manner. The first night, I cooked frozen chicken tenders. I added nothing to the basket but the chicken. They cooked up perfectly and were crunchier than cooking in an oven. I served them in a mix of fresh greens. The next time, I cooked marinated tenderloin by making 1″ slices. I was concerned that the marinade would cause a problem but it did not. The pork was awesome. Tonight I cooked fresh whole boneless chicken breasts with olive oil and a little seasoning. Perfect…better than cooking on a grill because it can dry them out…these were moist. Next I’m going to try beef fillets and I’m going to guess they are going to be terrific based on what I’ve found, so far. It was a difficult choice in deciding what is most important to me in using this product because clean up is a cinch…so easy and so easy to use with the guide giving good instructions. I would have liked to be able to choose more than one! I love this appliance.

Some of the wonderful features of the digital air fryer:• Digital display with 6 pre-programmed settings• Easy-to-clean nonstick food basket• 6 pre-programmed settings – One touch is all it takes to cook French fries, chicken, seafood, steak, baked goods, and veggies to perfection• Manual mode – Select your own cooking time and temperature• Removable nonstick basket – For easy cleanup• Audible beep when cooking is done• Cool-touch handle The Hamilton Beach air fryer is a wonderful addition to a household. The versatility of the air fryer is endless. When you need to cook a meal in less than 15 to 20 minutes, this appliance is for you. It is a healthy option to frying food. I tried out three different recipes.1) Chicken wings using lemon pepper and garlic salt and a little oil .I cooked the chicken wings at 400deg F for 8 minutes per side until the chicken wings were crisp and golden brown. Recipe taken from Natasha’s kitchen.2) Air Fryer Buttery Corn-on-the –Cob (Recipe from The Hamilton Beach test kitchen) the corn was cooked at 400 deg for 13-15 minutes turning half way through the cooking process. I added butter and parsley to add to the taste once the corn was cooked.. The corn was crunchy and had a taste similar to grilling the corn on the BBQ. 3) Air fryer Parmesan fries (recipe from Hamilton Beach test kitchen) the fries came out golden brown and crispy. Russet potatoes are recommended. The fries are cooked at 400 deg For 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes or until fries are golden brown” It is completely safe to remove the basket to shake the fries. The air Fryer turns off and will restart once you replace the basket at the place you interrupted the process. I love the air fryer and my next recipe I will tackle is a boxed cake recipe. The air fryer is easy to clean. My only recommendation I have is that the cord is too short and I had to find a convenient place to use the Air fryer. The appliance will be my first go to choice when cooking a meal.

Look no more this is the Air Fryer that is easy to use and has amazing results. This air fryer uses hot air and little — or even no — oil to cook everything from fries to a bone-in turkey breast! Users have two (2) cook options via the air fryer’s digital touchpad: (1) manual mode to select a specific time & temperature, up to 400 degrees. This air fryer lets you know when your food is finished cooking via an audible beep. I especially love that the air fryer lets you enjoy delicious foods in a healthier way! Frozen foods require no oil for air frying, and other foods require only a light mist of your favorite oil. Because so little oil is used if at all, the air fryer’s removable nonstick cooking basket is quick & easy to wash in soapy water. Hamilton Beach’s versatile air fryer delivers quick, even heating…so you can use it to cook meats, vegetables, baked treats, and more.

So, I’d been hearing about air fryers for awhile, and I wondered what all the fuss was about. Air? Frying? sounded like a gimmick to me. But, I got a chance to try this one and I love it! There are recipes online specifically for air fryers and I tried lots! First, I made some frozen fries that are usually soggy in the middle when you bake them in the regular oven. The air fryer made them golden brown on the outside and tender and moist on the inside! Then, I tried home made onion rings. This thing is incredible! They were delicious. So, of course I tried frozen onion rings because making them from scratch is a real labor of love and sometimes you just can’t wait that long! Again – perfect golden crunchy rings with fully cooked centers! The variety of foods that you can cook in it is amazing! I have probably tried at least 20 recipes with this air fryer and except for a bit of a learning curve (because sometimes different thickness items need different cooking times) it is SO simple to use! The control board is on top of the fryer and you push the ON button and hold it for 3 seconds and then the control buttons appear. You can change the temperature, and the cooking time with ease. And, I think this is one of my favorite things – when you pull the basket out to check on whatever is cooking, the fryer stops until you put the basket back in! So, you don’t have to reset it each time you stop to check on something! The actual fryer area pulls all the way out of the body of the fryer and the basket is easily removed from the “drawer” that it is in to make loading, unloading, and cleaning easy, and both parts can be washed. One slight downside is that air fryers tend to be large. Some are VERY large! This one is mid-sized I would say. It fits on the countertop just fine but, it is light enough to put away when you aren’t using it (But, that might not be too often! LOL!) On the top of the box there is a photo of the fryer and the words “Good Thinking” and I must say, Hamilton Beach seems to put a lot of effort into each item’s design. If you are curious about Air Fryers, you should try this one. It won’t break the bank, and it is made very well. I had wondered if Air Frying would be a fad, but after trying this one from Hamilton Beach, I believe that Air Fryers are here to stay!

I was leery of adding yet another appliance in my kitchen. But the health benefits of oil free frying convinced me to try the air fryer. Consider me sold! Three different recipes and counting. My repertoire expands as my waistline shrinks. This appliance turns out consistently excellent results with dry rubs—from thinly sliced meats to thick chicken breasts. Although the crunch isn’t Popeye level, it’s still pretty good when you think healthy foods vs artery cloggers.

Finally had the time to use my air fryer this busy fall. This machine cooks items well; I’ve never used one before so am still learning what things should look like, how long to cook, etc. I like that is has well lit controls and the ability to adjust the time and temperature.Size-wise it is great for one or two servings which fits my needs. The non-stick pan and basket make cleaning up easy. I struggle to get the pan/basket to seat back in correctly after shaking the food so the fryer will continue cooking. Takes me several attempts.I am still learning how to program it/set it to cook how I want. I seem to end up turning it off after adding minutes or degrees to the programmed setting I want to use, instead of starting the cooking. That’s probably me, though. The one downside for me is the plastic smell during operation. I’ve only had the chance to use it three times, so hopefully that will dissipate over time. Friends who use air fryers have told me it will eventually replace my toaster oven. We’ll see. I love my HB toaster oven so I think the air fryer will be a side adjunct to it.

It is one of the best new products of all times. I am single and really don’t eat right but that has now changed. I have had this Hamilton Air fryer for a week or so now and I am so impressed. The first night I put 5, 3 section chicken wings with fries on the top. 20 minutes later Crisp chicken wings and the best fries ever, brown and crisp I usually don’t like re-heated chicken , but two nights later when I put the two leftover wings in for 4 minutes, it tasted like the first time. I did egg rolls , thawed, and browned perfectly. Mozzarella sticks at 5 minutes, browned and crisp. Dense foods, like chicken, pork etc., should be thawed if frozen. Things like fries and Mozzarella sticks can be frozen. When doing meat, for cleanup, I put a drop of liquid dish soap in hot water. Swish it around, rinse and dry. For things that are not oily, paper towels do the trick. LOVE, LOVE, this machine. This machine is very attractive in a shiny grey, doesn’t show finger prints at all.

Works great, but if you are cooking for more than 2 people I would recommend getting at least a 5qt air fryer.

I’ve been wanting to try an air fryer since so many folks seem to be in love with theirs. Let me say the Hamilton Beach digital model exceeded my expectations! I had concerns about a lengthy learning curve, but there was no need. After a couple test runs, I am confident I can get some tasty mileage out of this appliance. So far I have made mozzarella sticks, brussel sprouts, bacon, chicken nuggets, & chicken wings. Every one of those came out picture perfect and delicious! I can see this fitting easily into my regular cooking routine with very little hassle. I’ve seen recipes for air fryer muffins and even oatmeal online that I’m trying next. I am excited about the potential dishes with this thing. It’s not one of those one – trick ponies! I love that this air fryer doesn’t eat up a ton of real estate on the counter either. Suffice to say, this air fryer and I have hit it off! I can’t wait to try so much more! If I absolutely HAD to be nitpicky, I’d ask for a digital timer that is in individual temp number increments instead of 25 degree increments, and dishwasher safe basket and pan. Neither of these are deal breakers though, overall I’m pretty happy with this little machine! Thanks Hamilton Beach! I’m another satisfied customer!

This is the perfect size and amount for two people. The food turns crisp without using oil. Actually tastes better than with oil. I have an all in one oven with air fryer option but much easier to use this fryer…

I just made some Spicy Cajun Potatoes with the air fryer and they turned out incredible. The fryer is so easy to use and easy to clean. I am so happy that I don’t have to use oils to cook with. It is so much healthier. Again Great Air Fryer.

This is a great little air frying unit. I admit that before receiving it I wasnt keen on the idea of air fryers. They seemed like mini convection ovens and I already had a convection oven so I didn’t see the point in adding another gadget when my oven already did the job. But boy was I wrong. Not only does the food come out tasting better than baked but it does so in half the time of baking. It isn’t a replacement for the standard deep fryer but if you want the convenience and healthier food I highly reccommend it.Some of the things I love is how fast it cooks frozen foods. Because of that I use it almost every day.I also love the simple to use interface and the easy to push touch screen buttons. It is very easy to clean the cooking chamber and fry basket as they slide out and easily come apart to be washed. Not sure if I can put them in the dishwasher so I just hand wash them. The unit is very sturdy when it is put together. However, there are some issues I did have with the fryer. The most notable one is that the preset time and temp for fries is way too long, at least for the waffle cut I typically use. Now, I just use a shorter time preset and watch the food as it cooks. I’m not sure how other food presets hold up to their respective food counterparts though because I just watch the food as it cooks. Even after reading the instructions I cant figure out how custom set time and temperature, because pushing the plus and minus buttons doesn’t seem to do anything, and the menu button just cycles through the preset options. In addition, it can be rather hard to place the fry basket back into the unit. It seems to need to be in just the perfect position to snap into place. It is rather annoying for me but I can manage. I can see where it would be even harder for someone with shakey hands or mobility issues to put the basket back into place.
