This product is a little nicer than I first expected. The settings for the different types of rice are a little more robust than most models. The time cook feature is a great addition for those quick rice or noodle packages, as well. The steamer basket is more thoughtfully considered than most rice cookers in that you can also user is as a colander for rinsing your rice or other food before cooking.I gave it a slightly lower rating because of some things I would do differently in the design – mostly a slightly longer power cord, and either making it detachable or self-storing for easier shelf storage of the unit while not in use.

I’ve used this rice cooker several times for a few different things and it has been amazing. Rice is easier than ever to make and has come out perfectly every time. I’ve also made soups and veggies in it and it does those so great as well! It is straightforward and easy to use and clean, it fits perfectly stored in my kitchen cabinet! I like that it has the extended timer to keep the food nice and warm for hours! This is a great product and every household should have one!

I also love that is has preprogrammed settings/modes that allow you to cook delicious food while multitasking. I cook rice, steam veggies, and make oatmeal/grits for breakfast. this is one item that I thought I did not need..but I love it. Make oatmeal in a.m. and eat lots of various grains so it is perfect esp when you steam vegs on top. can get creative in the prep of the rice/grains also…enjoying it.

I like cooking my rice and grains in the rice cooker. Always comes out perfect. The bonus feature I like is the steamer basket. You can cook rice and steam vegetables at the same time. I am still experimenting with recipes but so far everything tastes delicious.
