First off, this is a very good looking appliance. The polished striped stainless steel gives this machine a refined unique look. The control panel is easy to use and the simple layout makes it easy to understand. This has more functions than a standard rice cooker and I especially likes the fuzzy logic automatic control which varies heating time to provide well cooked and perfect rice each time. The saute function works well as well and heated up pretty quickly, all the time displaying the current status.The handle makes it easy to carry the appliance. My only quirk is the moisture collector at the top is not well thought out. If you don’t empty the storage before lifting the lid, all the water flows down into the outer pot. Other than that its a well designed and well executed appliance.

I have been cooking with this rice cooker almost everyday this week! This rice cooker is really great for our family of 6. We have tried steaming up broccoli, cauliflower and beans which came out perfectly cooked. Most importantly the rice came out perfectly cooked, not to soft and not too hard. I have struggled with many other rice cookers, trying to find one that makes decent rice. Cleaning up the machine is very easy too, all the pieces come apart so there aren’t any unexpected surprises. The Hamilton Beach rice cooker does everything we need and it’s quite fast! I can’t wait to cook up slow meals like Chili’s and soups. Definitely recommending this to my mom in law and friends!

I love this rice cooker so far! I am so glad I got it. First of all, it’s easy to figure out how to use. Once you plug it in, you just push the button you want and voila! You are good to go. It has a button for Rice and Grains, Hot Cereal, Steam, Saute and Slow Cook. It also keeps warm automatically! I love that it’s a rice cooker but it does so much more than just cook rice! This rice cooker holds 8 cups of uncooked rice, which makes 16 cups when cooked. It also cooks the rice perfectly each time because of the technology it uses! Another thing about this cooker is that it also has a steaming basket that it comes with, so you can steam veggies! This rice cooker is also SUPER easy to clean! It’s nonstick and the inner bowl comes out easily and washes easily. I also love the handle on it as well. It makes it a lot easier to move around if you need to.All in all, this is a great product and I highly recommend it to everyone! It’s more than just a rice cooker and you will love it just as much as I do!Pros: Easy to use, Quality, FunctionsCons: None

First let’s get the cooking rice done. Yes! It cooks rice and does a wonderful job. The rice came out just right. Fluffy and tasteful and it can makes a lot of it! But I was very surprised at the other things it could do and do well. You can sauté for 60 minutes! That’s a long time. This gives you the ability to make more complicated dishes in one pot without overcooking or undercooking anything. And this function is hot like sautéing should be. You’ll definitely get a sear on meats and carmelization on vegetables and fruits. I was pretty impressed by the slow cook function which allowed for low and high heat settings and they kept a constant temperature throughout the cooking cycle. I made a huge amount of Irish oats with apples, raisins and cranberries thrown in on the hot cereal function and the cereal came out creamy and delicious. It was done just right and I made enough to last for a week of breakfasts. I am simply blown away by this appliance. It was easy to use and it holds a lot! I like the markings on the inside of the cooking pot for rice and hot cereals. Just follow the instructions and you can’t go wrong and DO use the little rice cup because the machine is calibrated to use this volume of dry rice when cooking rice. I liked that it automatically switched to warm when the dish was done and you can set starting times. Just to give some sense of what this baby can do I made chili, tandoori chicken, rice of course, both brown and white, pork roast with sautéed apples, steamed vegetables, steamed fish and Irish oatmeal and every dish was delicious. I used this appliance a lot! This is well worth getting.Pros: holds a lot of food, easy to use, easy to clean, easy to take apart and put back together, does way more than just cook rice and truly is multifunctional and looks great and modern.Cons: This is not really a con but is a good size, so it does take up kitchen real estate and if you don’t have a lot of kitchen counter space, well it is very lightweight and portable and comes with a handle!

I love the versatility of this rice cooker. Having the ability to make rice, saute, steam, saute, make hot cereals, slow cook meals or make sushi all in one pot is really convenient. The handles make it super easy to carry to and from events and it is really easy to clean. The instructions are very easy to follow and convenient as well. I plan on buying a few for friends so they can enjoy this wonderful product as well.

I’m constantly trying to find ways (and appliances) that will help me eat healthier. The real task is finding things that can make it easy to quickly get something going without a lot of fuss. First off, this Hamilton Beach rice cooker does cook perfect rice each and every time (both white and brown), with the touch of a button-set and walk away. That’s a great base and I can make plenty enough for a bunch of meals. What I really love is the versatility of this product, so much I can do in one single “pot” as it’s actually a multi-cooker. The steaming basket is large (not like the very small, limited baskets you usually get)-you can steam a LOT of veggies and meat or fish with room to spare. I’m going to work on getting it all going so I get a complete meal with very little to clean up. I’ve also used the sautee function and even cooked some packaged products easily and I know I’m going to love the grains/cereal settings to get my workouts going with the perfect steel cut oats. I’m just getting started, but I love having a product like this that can do so many things and help me kickstart getting less processed foods into my diet with ease.

This is not only a rice cooker but it has settings for hot cereal and steaming basket. I’m not super happy with the coating of the pot, I was hoping for a stainless but the functionality won me over. Another great feature compared to my old cooker are handles on the pot itself for removal.

This is the best rice cooker I have ever had.This 16 cup premium rice cooker has so many options that it is one of the few appliances to need in the kitchen!It Cooks rice so good.. Always comes out perfect every time! And to be able to steam some veggies in here too is great! It is non stick and heats very evenly!To can even slow cook in this cooker! How awesome is that!Want hot cereal? You can do that too!It has a digital display for cooking progress and time.I like how easy it is to clean and store!

I wasn’t sure at first about the rice cooker but after I used it to make some rice I knew I made the right choice. The rice came out so fluffy and was so easy to make. No messy cleanup either one nonstick pot and the provided rice paddle made cleanup quick and easy and everyone loved the rice! I am anxious to make oatmeal using the slow cooker function.
