This new design is genius! Having the griddle top removable makes it so much easier to take to the sink and clean! Especially for an older somewhat handicapped person, no big bulky structure to lug to the sink. And I can’t say enough about the cook surface. I used no cooking spray, made grilled cheese and French toast and not a crumb stuck to the surface. Washed like a dream! Love this appliance and cooking surface cooked evenly. Buy this!

I got this Hamilton Beach Reversible Durathon Ceramic Griddle last week and I love it! I have cooked pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, grilled cheese and some other sandwiches on it. I have not had one issue with anything sticking.The other plus is the fact that you do not have to put the whole thing in the dish water. It makes it so much easier to handle just having to put the griddle itself.Also the ability to switch which end you are going to plug into is nice as sometimes my counter is occupied with other things so this way I can put the griddle wherever I need it.Hamilton Beach has nailed it on the head with this griddle. I really enjoy cooking with this!I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a new griddle.

It has taken me a bit to write my review because I have so enjoyed using my Hamilton Beach Reversible Durathon Ceramic Griddle that I simply haven’t taken the time to sit down and write about it. The griddle heats quickly and the convenience of having the ability to reverse the griddle makes using it ever so easy. I first tried the griddle with a simple grilled cheese and, even though I use 3 slices of cheese which melts over the sides, there was not a single bit of sticking to the surface. The cheese also melted more quickly than my old griddle. Next I used the griddle to fry bacon. This is where the Hamilton Beach Durathon Ceramic Griddle really shined. The bacon was fried very crisply just the way I like it in about half the time of my old griddle. I could continue but I am getting ready to grill burgers and I can’t wait to try it out again. I have never had a griddle I was as pleased with as this one!

The Hamilton Beach Reversible Durathon Griddle has made me love breakfast again! When I was child, my mother had a black griddle that she would make our Saturday breakfast on every Saturday morning. My siblings and I looked forward to the pancakes and bacon on the griddle every week. Now since I’m an adult with children myself I can recreate that same feeling for my kids and recreate that nostalgia for myself. Although, I haven’t cooked on a griddle in over five years, I was very excited to try out this griddle. I must say this griddle is built to last. The quality and make of the griddle makes me feel that it will be around for a long time, even possible for my sons to cook on it one day. Which brings me to the next point, the ease of cooking on the griddle is amazing. This is actually a great way to start and teach your kids how to cook certain foods as well. I plan to teach my teenager how to cook his favorite foods on the griddle very soon. Also, everything in this package, except for the cord of course, is also dishwasher safe which makes the cleanup easier in everyday lives. Now onto my experience cooking on the Hamilton Beach Reversible Durathon Griddle. Of course I tried my favorites; bacon, eggs, pancakes and sausage, which all cooked very well and evenly throughout the cook. I also experimented with making the steak for steak and cheese subs on the griddle which made them perfectly. I think this is one thing that Hamilton Beach should advertise, because it can also do lunches as well!! I enjoyed cooking on this so much; I think that I’ll buy 2 griddles as gifts for Christmas this year.

Loving this griddle, especially the ceramic coating and being able to reverse which side the plug goes in. I have used it ever day since I got it and it works great. Love having ceramic coating instead of the Teflon type. Cord is very short and could be a tab bit longer though. It is huge, especially for my small apartment counters. lol Wish they made one like this just a little big smaller, I’d buy it in a second.

I used my Hamilton Beach Reversible Durathon Ceramic Griddle for the first time last night. My husband made reuben sandwiches. They turned out great! The cheese oozed over the sides of the bread, but didn’t stick to the griddle at all and the bread was nice and crisp, just like it should be! I was a little concerned that the ceramic would be to slippery, but it wasn’t. Some of the things I like the most on this griddle is the easy cord reversal, so you can turn it for the most convenient way to reach your outlet, it is very easy to clean, it heated up quickly & was consistent in heat all over. I can’t wait to try other things on my new griddle, pancakes or grilled cheese or patty melts.

Large surface for 6 pancakes at a time. The only problem, I eat all 6.Time will tell how the surface holds up. At least I will not be ingesting Teflon (Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)).

I’m in love with this griddle!! Smart design, the cooking surface is huge, lightweight, easy to clean, cooks and drains bacon beautifully. I can make multiple grilled cheese sandwiches on one end and bacon on the other side. The surface is super slick and easy to clean and it’s lightweight. I like the slide in drain catch…fats drips away leaving the surface clean. to cook on. To avoid any scratching of the surface be sure to use wood/plastic utensils. Every home should have this griddle!

I got my Hamilton Reversible Griddle last month. Boy was I impressed with this griddle. In the morning I was able to make, pancakes, eggs and sausage all at the same time. In the afternoon, I made burgers for my family. One of the features that I absolutely love is the Grease Drain and the removable Drip Tray. Keeps food from drowning in grease when I fry, and clean up is so easy. I love that you can reverse the power plug from the right side to the left side depending on how your kitchen is set up

Have it for about a month. Non stick surface is great. Needs a longer plug cord though – too short if your outlet is 2 feet away. Mine makes a slight buzzing like a tuning fork but not loud.

Just got this and had to have pancakes for dinner. This griddle heated up fairly quick and has a nice big cooking surface. The best feature is the nonstick surface, fried eggs and didn’t have any sticking and cleanup was so easy. I highly recommend this griddle.
