After mealtime, once the cord has been removed, the skillet, lid and base can go in the dishwasher for easy cleanup.

This is an excellent electric skillet that I use daily; the non-stick coating does not come off even after a year of heavy usage that I give it.I needed this replacement because it will stick a bit where the electric ring sits after 14-15 months. Nonetheless, it’s excellent and perfect size!!

This is an easy-to-use fry pan. Initially worried that it was larger than we needed, but it is fun to cook all of the French toast at the same time. The fry pan fits in the cupboard where our old smaller one was stored The Ceramic finish seems sturdy and the removable pan makes clean-up very easy!

I’ve had my Hamilton Beach Durathon Ceramic for a few days now. My very first meal was chicken and steak fajitas. The second night we had fried fish I was pleased because the unit didn’t specify frying option but thought I would give it a try since you do have a controlled thermostat. This skillet is easy to clean and use. I was very pleased to be able to serve food “buffet style”. The unit itself is a good size not heavy at all and the best part is it comes apart for easy storage. This unit is advertised being completely dishwasher safe excluding the power cord. The unit itself is crafted well a heavy silver for hit the inside and the inside still looks new, although I do not recommend using metal utensils with this unit it appears it will hold up. The only negative I can think of so far is the lid itself a lot of energy and time went into everything except the glass top it has a poor quality feel to it almost as if it’ll break at a moments notice. It really gives a feel of the top was an afterthought. All and all solid product

The construction and durability of the Durathon Ceramic Skillet is what would be expected from a mid range priced skillet. The base and skillet fit nicely together, but the metal around the glass cover is somewhat lightweight and not sure if it will last too long without being replaced. I have an older model bought a few years ago and paid a good price for it and is quite durable and this one is pretty nice for what the mid range price would be. Once again you cannot go wrong with the skillet and the non-stick interior of the skillet is great and with Hamilton Beach products they speak for themselves.

I was surprised by the 12″ x 15″ size of the skillet and that the skillet is removable from the stand. Both are great features and allows both pieces to be washed in the dishwasher, however I still like to wash and dry by hand. The ceramic non-stick finish is awesome and with the generous cooking surface you can prepare a large amount of food at one time. When cooking with it I found that it browned evenly and quickly. The thermostat is easy to use and the skillet seems to maintain heat as designated by the thermostat. I like that once separated from the stand the skillet can be placed on the table as a serving dish. It comes with a clear glass lid so you can watch your food while cooking and you can keep your food warm on the table. I really like this skillet and it is very attractive. I received this skillet for an honest review. I can assure you that this is my honest and sincere review.
