This makes cooking eggs, sausage, hash browns a breeze. Pancakes turn out great and you can cook more that one on each side. Both burner right there and can cook more than one item on each side.The dual heat controls make the griddle very effective. Turn the griddle plates over and you cook burgers, steak, chops, just about anything you would cook on a barbecue. The slotted sides are tilted slightly so grease can run into a drip tray in the middle of the grill. Grills are easily removed so for easy cleaning. So far everything I have cooked on it has turned out very good. Love it.

Where has this been all my life? This is the best grill/griddle I’ve ever used. My pictures show the griddle in use. The ones I took of the grill didn’t come out right. So, I’ll update this review later with better pictures. Anyway, the griddle kept the perfect temperature for the pancakes – no burning around the edges or raw middles. Both sides heated perfectly and kept the right temperature. Clean up was a breeze – no sticking. The grill made the perfect hamburgers. No splattering because of the drainage. I would much rather cook my burgers on this than on an outdoor grill. We live in an apartment and this is great for a small kitchen. I will surely get a lot of use out of this.

This grill/griddle works very well for the 2 of us. I can make eggs on one side and bacon on the other, hamburgers and grill the buns at the same time, or 8 medium pancakes. It heats evenly and my pancakes were all the same shade of golden brown. The grease tray caught excess grease however there was still a good amount of grease that did not drain from the cooking surface. I like that I can wash the medal plates and grease tray in the dishwasher. My only negative comment is that the metal grills are hard to get in and out because the medal clips are tight and a finger pinch hazard. However the clips that hold the grills in place seem to be getting a little more flexible and hopefully with time it will require less force to install and remove the metal plates and I will be less afraid of finger pinches.

This Hamilton Beach 3 in 1 Grill & Griddle is my new favorite kitchen gadget. It makes perfect pancakes and I can make multiple pancakes at a time with the large cooking area of the 2 griddles. It heats up quickly and is nice and level. When using the grill side it also heats quickly and easily fit 4 nice size new york steaks without overcrowding. It is very easy to clean and the grill plates are dishwasher safe.

When my husband saw the box that the grill/griddle was in, he said, “This looks like something I could cook on.” My thought was, “You’ve GOT to be kidding! You can’t cook more than one thing at a time, even if it is all in one place.” Then he went on to say, as he laughed, “So easy even a husband could do it.” My next thought was, “Wait, maybe we should pursue this because, what if it works!” So, we did. Took it out of the box. It’s light weight. There are two small reversible grill plates instead of one large plate which is really nice. It makes them easy to handle whether you’re washing them by hand or putting them in your dishwasher. Each side also has its own temperature control, so it’s easy to prepare 2 different types of food at one time. I will say that you need to be sure to check out the user’s guide for how to get the grill plates on. It’s not hard to do but just a little different than you might expect. There is also information in the user’s guide about cooking temperatures for different types of foods. We were cooking bacon and eggs. So, back to the husband cooking…He did require some assistance simply because he really didn’t know how to cook more than one thing at a time, but I do think he will be able to do it next time by himself. We’ve only had it a week but I like this product much better than the one I used to have which was a different brand because it’s lighter and because of the ability to cook different foods at the same time.

I have thought about getting a grill like this, but hadn’t yet, when I had the chance to try this one out. It’s terrific. It is so easy to use, you can cook on both sides or just one because of the dual controls. The grill plates are reversible, so you can grill on one side or both; you can cook pancakes on the griddle and bacon or sausage on the grill at the same time. Both plates have the flat griddle on one side and the grill side on the other; it makes it easy to cook steaks or chicken–or whatever–indoor when you can’t outside because of the weather; it takes no time at all to set up, heats quickly, has a drainage container in the center so both sides will drain into it. The plates are non-stick, easy to hand wash or put in the dishwasher. I’ve only used it twice, but it is easy and the food came out great.

I’ve just received my 3 in 1 Grill and I’m loving it. I had a little trouble putting in the grill plates but after figuring it out it went pretty smoothly. I’ve only used the flat grill plates so far and I can make 4 grilled cheese sandwiches at once and it cooked them perfect. I also tried pancakes and they too turned out perfect. Cleaning the grill is a breeze too. I can’t wait to try the grill side of the plates. My first thing is going to be hamburgers. I’ve always wanted an inside grill/griddle and this one is so perfect for me….

I am in love with my Hamilton Beach 3 in 1 Grill and Griddle! This is so easy to use and assemble. I love how the entire thing can be a grill, griddle or both! The plates are so easy to interchange. I like the heating temperature knobs and the light that lights up when the desired temperature is reached. The grill/griddle plates are strong and sturdy and super easy to clean. This makes it so easy to make a meal and not have to use two separate gadgets!
