The Hamilton Beach Fast Brew Coffee Urn brews coffee 30% faster, reducing wait-time for your guests. The urn makes 15-45 cups of coffee, and brews 45-cups in just 28-minutes. The urn features dual heaters to keep coffee hot without overheating. The ready light illuminates to let you know when the coffee’s ready to serve. The urn is also great to use for hot tea and other drinks. Coffee is easy to pour from the urn using the easy-press lever, which is activated at the push of a cup making it easy to pour coffee using just one hand. The urn easily dispenses coffee into any kind of cup, even disposable cups. Clear water level markings in the urn’s water/coffee level window make it easy to see how much water you’re adding or how much coffee is left in the urn. The removable coffee filter basket lifts from the urn and is easy to clean in the dishwasher. No paper filters are needed. The brushed finish looks great with every decor and resists fingerprints. The handles stay cool to the touch for comfort, and the lid on the large coffee maker locks in place to eliminate spills.

I really like this coffee urn! The urn makes 45 cups of great coffee in 28 minutes and it stays warm and toasty, not burned. Although, you don’t need a coffee filter, I used a basket style filter, flattened with a hole in it for the stem. This made cleanup much easier. The handle is great, you can either push it with your cup or set the cup below the spout and lift. either way it works nicely and doesn’t drip. A light turns on and stays on when the coffee or water is hot. You must plug the urn into the wall to begin brewing and unplug to turn it off. It would be better if it had an on/off switch so it’s easier not to forget to turn it off. For a large urn this doesn’t take up very much space, about the same as a regular coffee maker. Just what I needed for when my large family comes over for brunch or lucheons with friends.

Works as well as expected. My only complaint is that I missed that it does not have an automatic “OFF” function.

The Hamilton Beach fast brew urn is perfect for any crowd. Was very easy to set up and Brews very quickly. My favorite feature is the hands-free where you can fill a cup it makes for a cleaner setup and especially nice when your hands are full at a buffet or event. This is so much easier than making multiple pots of coffee and the coffee stays hot and fresh to the very last cup. With a group of 20 will be able to to get two cups of coffee during the event without having to make another pot. If you do have to make another pot during an event it’s really fast in brewing and the quality is the same throughout from pot to pot. If you’re getting ready to host an event this is the perfect coffee urn for entertaining. I would definitely recommend a Hamilton Beach fast brew urn for all of my friends and family who likes to entertain as much as I do.

This coffee urn is great for large groups. It brews 45 cups very fast, I did not time it but it was less than 30 minutes. I tried 25 cups and it took 20 minutes. Cleaning was easy. I especially liked the one handed dispenser into a coffee mug! The dispenser is easy to operate and does not leak. One thing that I do not like is you have to unplug it, there is no on off switch. One small thing to know, if you want to make smaller amounts to have and keep it warming for hot coffee for longer periods of time you can not. When it gets down to 20 cups you have to unplug it. Since the urn is not insulated like an air pot you see in a convenience store, coffee gets cold quickly. This limitation will make this urn useful for only large gatherings.

We needed a larger coffee maker and when I saw the Hamilton Beach 45 cup coffee Urn I knew I had to have it !! We are a family of coffee drinkers and now we can make enough for our family of 3 and neighbors who drop in for coffee!

I got this for a family get together we were having. I loved it made the coffee very fast and kept it warm. As long as it stays plugged in it will heat the coffee. The cord is not detachable. Can use paper or basket type filter. I have a very big family so it was great. I would highly recommend it. It is very easy to use and to clean. Only con on this is that you cant forget about turning it off when done as it doesn’t have auto cut off other than that its great.

Why I havent gotten one of these long ago. The calcium in the water here clogs the new coffee pots within a few months. Even after cleaning them they still don’t last, I’ve been through 6.5 coffee makers in the past year. This is just like the one my father has which after 34 years still works. I drink about three 12 cup coffee carafes every day. I can now look forward to enjoying coffee all day as it holds so much. The sound of it brewing has brought back many memories of my dad making coffee for the coin club , along with donuts to dunk. Thank you Hamilton Beach for the trip back to the past and the future memories this coffee maker will bring.

I love this Fast Brew Urn. Its compact, despite being able to make 45 cups. It takes little space. I also love being able to see the coffee and water levels, as well as the one hand operation! Fantastic for parties of all size.

I have a Hamilton Beach FlexBrew that I use daily for making individual cups of coffee when I go to work and use the 12 cup pot for weekends, but I needed something larger when we have guests over for social events. The Fast Brew Urn 45 cup was the problem solver. I have used it twice now and it works great. I made 30 cups of coffee for the guys during one event and we brewed 45 cups of just hot water for tea for another event for my wife and her lady friends. Now we don’t have to stop and brew more small pots while guest are visiting!!! We love it and some of the guest are even talking about getting one. Thanks Hamilton Beach for another great product and problem solver!

Got this for my boyfriend’s brother so he can make his ice tea. This was perfect for it. The tea came out perfectly and strong not weak like when he would make it on the stove. This makes enough tea for the week. He loved it.

I bought this for when I host large gatherings. The was perfect for a group on 12 or 25! It was so easy to use and to clean. The only reason I gave it a 4 star review was because of how loud it was when it percolated and how hot the sides of the urn would get. After the coffee was made it was quiet and keep the coffee hot for hours, which was ideal for serving coffee throughout my party.

This is a great product. It came at the perfect time for me to use at a parent club function. It heated quickly, came out of the spout perfectly and was just the right temperature. Great product that I will use a lot!

Was looking for a percolator that was fast and kept coffee hot. Have had this for a few weeks and it works great! Makes coffee fast for a percolator and keeps it piping hot. Have it plugged into a home automation outlet that will turn on and have the coffee ready when I get up each morning.

This is perfect and just what I needed for my family get togethers. It’s slightly smaller than a usual urn but makes 15 to 45 cups of coffee/ hot beverages. I use this for hot tea most of the time and it’s easy to use. Takes about 25 minutes to brew but it’s definitely easy to use and worth it for a big crowd. It has a temperature gauge and a lever to pour the perfect amount. Would definitely recommend!

This urn does brew a bit faster than other products of similar size. I recommend using a medium grind coffee as finer grinds may get through the filter. Be sure to allow enough time for coffee to brew completely. Set up the the machine first, and take care of other tasks during the inactive brewing time. This would also be ideal if you need a lot of hot water for cocoa or hot tea.

This coffee urn was a real pleasure to use. The size is perfect … not big & clunky, easy to store, and takes up minimal counter space. The coffee maker is in 3 pieces – easy to put together, take apart and clean. I made 3 pots of coffee, both 15 cups and 45 cups – 1 Pot without a paper filter, and 2 with. The directions say you don’t need a paper filter, but you do, unless you like grounds in your cup. Making coffee is super easy … put water in the pot, put the filter in the basket, add your coffee, and plug it in. Brewing 15 cups of coffee took only 6 minutes! (Got distracted when brewing 45 cups, so I can’t tell you how long it took.). Left the coffee warming for 4 hours – perfect temperature, no burned taste! On the other hand, I do have a few negative comments to make. When first turning on the coffee maker, it made a popping sound, but that didn’t last long. The water level is hard to read, but once the coffee starts brewing and the water turns “coffee colored” it’s easy to see. The cord is a bit short, but then all appliance cords are these days (I assume that’s because of some government regulation). The biggest concerns with this coffee maker concern heat and steam. The “pot” is metal, and the outside does get hot. To be on the safe side, I’d make sure it was sitting high enough that “little hands” can’t reach. When heating up and brewing, the hot water generates steam. Unfortunately, the steam escapes right over the side handles of the pot. It would be better if the lid had a vent valve to let the steam escape upwards towards the rear. Even with the few negatives, this is definitely a great coffee maker, deserving a 5-star rating! It’s going to be a permanent fixture at our family gatherings. I recommend this coffee urn to anyone who hosts group events!

I received this to review and love it. I was going to use it on my next family gathering but with the COVID going on I couldn’t use it for that. But, I did however, use it to brew my coffee for my iced coffee that I like to have. I was able to brew enough to last me a whole week and it was fast and the quality of the brew was excellent. It was so easy to set up to brew and this new Hamilton Beach Fast Brew perks in half the time as the old timer models do. I can’t wait to use it on our next family gathering but in the mean time I will use it to brew my coffee for my ice coffee for the week. It was easy to clean also.

This is a great coffee maker. It brews a large amount of coffee fairly quickly and is great for large gatherings with it’s 45 cup capacity. It’s easy to clean and keeps the coffee hot. Definitely pleased with this unit.

We have been using this for our office safety meetings and it has been great! It easily makes enough for everyone quickly, the handles stay cool and the lever is easy to use, no dripping everywhere. The coffee level is very handy, it always let’s us know how much is left and when we need to make another pot. Clean up is a breeze, we are very happy with this coffee maker!

Makes a nice amount of coffee. Easy to use. Coffee stayed nice and hot. I do not recommend using a flattened paper coffee filter because the water does not filter through correctly. Overall a nice product.
