I love this thing. This electric kettle boils water so much faster than a traditional one so there is less time waiting around to get hot water. It also holds a ton of water so I can serve many people at once and not need to refill the water.I appreciate the auto shut off because life is busy and it’s easy to lose track of time and forget that I was indeed boiling water. There is a little screen filter to make sure no little particles go into your cup as well which is great because our water is super hard and build up occurs on everything. The kettle is also very easy to clean with household ingredients like cream of tartar and vinegar. My favorite part is the blue light that illuminates the kettle at night. It adds to the kettle’s already sleek appearance. I will never go back to a standard kettle again.

We were happy to receive the glass Kettle. We expected a kettle reminicent of the old dorm room pot. We we surprised to see that we got a stylish kitchen assistant. It heated the water quickly and we had the added benefit of a light show while the water boiled. Really appreciate that it has an automatic shut off so we don’t have to worry about it burning out.

Basic kettle, except that the lid must be held open to fill. This is difficult to do when the kettle has to be held and the water operated at the same time. Would not recommend for people with dexterity issues.

I love this kettle! This is the second one I have owned. I had to replace the first one just because it had some buildup on the bottom from the harsh water in my area and being turned on without water a few times. I use it mostly for tea and it works great for most kinds. The water gets a little too hot for teas like jasmine so I usually stop it before it’s done and use a quick read thermometer. I also use it when I want my stove water to boil a little more quickly. You do have to be mindful of where you place it; I left mine under my cabinets and overtime they got damaged from the steam. I was luckily able to fix it and made sure to move my kettle to an open area. It’s just and overall solid kettle that does what it is made to do! Highly recommend.

Since getting the Hamilton Beach Glass Kettle it has been in daily use. As an iced tea drinker, I make several pots a day. The kettle is fast to heat and although not necessary for functionality, it looks really nice. Love how it lights up. I haven’t needed the auto turn off feature, but I’m glad it exists because I’ll surely forget to turn it off at some point.

I like the design of this kettle the cord is separate and not attached to pot. It makes it easier to handle and easy to clean. I would recommend this product. Use to have one that the cord plugged into pot and was hard to clean.
