Kettle is every easy to use. The water heats up quickly and the blue light is a nice touch. Turn on the switch on the bottom of the handle and off it goes. The blue light turns off to let you know when the water is done boiling. The handle stays cool and the outside glass gets warm but not too hot. Perfect size and works very well. I’m very happy with this product and I would recommend it.

I got the Hamilton Beach 1.7L glass Kettle to heat up water fast and keep it hot. I drink a lot of tea and wanted to try an Electric Kettle. The Hamilton Beach 1.7L glass Kettle is perfect for the task. It hold plenty of water and re-heats the water really fast. I like the blue light on the inside bottom so I can see from a distance when the water is done and it’s really cool looking. I really like that the cord wraps up in the bottom for easy storage and I don’t have another plug taking up a precious outlet when not in use. I’m very happy I decided to try this Kettle, my new favorite kitchen appliance.

Classy little kettle with a futuristic light show! Easy to use, shuts off on its own. The minimum and maximum fill is clearly listed on it. Good for tea or coffee. You can use it for either one, no problem.

I love this thing. This electric kettle boils water so much faster than a traditional one so there is less time waiting around to get hot water. It also holds a ton of water so I can serve many people at once and not need to refill the water.I appreciate the auto shut off because life is busy and it’s easy to lose track of time and forget that I was indeed boiling water. There is a little screen filter to make sure no little particles go into your cup as well which is great because our water is super hard and build up occurs on everything. The kettle is also very easy to clean with household ingredients like cream of tartar and vinegar. My favorite part is the blue light that illuminates the kettle at night. It adds to the kettle’s already sleek appearance. I will never go back to a standard kettle again.

I really love the electric kettles!! I had an old one, but I love the look and design of this Hamilton Beach Glass Kettle! My only complaint is that I wish the top didn’t need to be held open to fill with water. I also wish the kettle shut off once at a full boil. Other than that, it’s not bad! I’ll keep this kettle out on my counter top as love the look of it.

Does everything you are looking for. Boils water fast, looks great and is glass which is also great because I don’t want to drink things boiled in plastic. Holds a huge amount of water and the light feature adds a really nice touch. When filling it you do have to open the lid manually instead of push button but that is not any problem at all. When using it make the the lid is CLOSED all the way on both sides or else it won’t automatically turn off when it is boiling. This is a safety feature so make sure it is closed all the way and you won’t have any problems. Overall a great kettle

This is my very first electric kettle and I only used on the stovetops ones. This is quite a blessing when I am cooking more than ever at home and drinking coffee, green tea and hot water all the time. This kettle boils the water in no time which was not possible on the stovetop. I can have the hot water ready for my cooking, baking, or coffees and teas. This a very easy appliance to use, not a list of To do or not To do. I am very satisfied with this kettle. My only suggestion would be to make the opening or you say lid of the kettle wider or detachable so that cleaning comes out easy. As of now its not so easy to wash the kettle since opening is narrow, can not completely put in my hand in to wash with the soapy water. I hope you make this possible soon.

I’ve had this product for about a week now, and I’ve used it almost everyday since receiving it. It is stylish, sleek, quick to heat up and very easy to use. I love the cord storage that is built into the base. It makes it easy to put away and not have to deal with a cord getting tangled up with other appliances. The unit heats up in about two minutes, much quicker than other kettles I have tried. I also enjoy the large water capacity of this unit, but do find that I rarely fill it all the way up to its maximum capacity. The blue light is a fun touch. Highly recommend this product for anyone in the market for a kettle.
