A great, water kettle with a cool blue tint. I really love this kettle for having some quickly boiled water. Make hot cocoa, tea, sauces, water for fast hard boiled eggs, ramen noodles, in a few minutes without stove or microwave. It shuts off automatically and really heats the water completely. It’s a gorgeous looking automatic electric hot water kettle that looks fabulous on my counter. Super easy to use to have hot water almost instantly. It’s also really easy to clean.

I appreciate the convenience this product provides as well as it being easy to use. Fill with water, plug in, press button and water is hot in a few minutes. I was surprised at the discoloration of the bottom of inside of pot after the second use, though. Manufacturers instructions state this is normal; however, when money is spent on the product, many may not be happy about this happening so quickly. Overall, it works efficiently. I am pleased.

I’ve had my Hamilton Beach 1.7 L Electric Glass Kettle almost two weeks now. I always drink a cup of hot tea after dinner, and love that it is lightweight and cordless for easy serving and pouring. It has a stylish design and sits only 10 inches high when on the base taking up little counter space. The wide smooth handle does not get hot. The inside lights up blue when you turn the kettle on, and it shuts off automatically when the water boils. I like the press down/pop up lid, and the cord wraps under the base when not in use. I think this kettle will blend in lovely with almost any décor.

This product is something that I never even knew existed, but am now very happy that I have! It heats a good quantity of water to boiling in a very short time! Even faster than the microwave! It is very simple to use, and it looks great, LOVE the soft blue light! It is easy to clean, I was afraid of water spots on the appliance, but so far that has not been an issue. I also like the fact that it has an auto shut-off feature so that it will not boil dry! It is a welcome addition to my kitchen, and I anticipate using it even more as the weather cools down. Just know that it is ONLY to be used for water, not to heat other liquids. I highly recommend it!

Hamilton Beach Kettle is the most innovative glass Kettle. Love the blue Illumination when water is heated. Water heats up fast, it has auto shut off. no worries of forgetting to turn off. Great use for kids in college as they can use the quick ans easy way to use hot water for noddles or hot tea or anything that requires hot water. No need to stand near the stove and constantly watch the noodles. It is safer too. The kettle is cord free so can move around easily. The best Kettle i have ever used. Great gift for college kids.

I received my glass kettle but could not use it right away and was anxious to try since I have burned out several other brands. My last one (different manufacturer) just died on me one day and I had to go back to the water kettle on the stove. Once I was able to unpack and use my Hamilton Beach I like it for several reasons and only have one thing I wish it could do. The cover does not come totally off which is easier for cleaning the inside of the pot but that is minor compared to the good things about the kettle. Of course it is nice looking with the blue lights when it is running, it heats up fast and I use my kettle all day long since I don’t have hot water available all the time from the faucet. I make coffee with the pour over method and lifting that heavy kettle from the stove which is very hot was not easy. I like that the bottom of the kettle is not hot so i can support the bottom as i pour. I like that the cord is not all over the counter top and wrapped in the base. Since I use it all the time during the day I guess my test will be how long it lasts which I will not know hopefully for a long time. I love having the electric kettle over the stove since it shuts off when it is done and stays hot for a little while so you don’t have ti watch it. I really like it for looks and for use.

I am an all day tea drinker and give kettles a work out. The quality of this kettle far surpasses all of those I have used in the past. The water touches nothing but glass which makes for safer, nonmetallic exposure. Cleaning it is so easy. The blue light is a nice reminder that the pot is ‘on’ and the auto shutoff removes the potential of boiling out. The brushed stainless steel fits all my appliances and is “JUST PERFECT”.

I predominantly use this modern glass kettle to heat up water for my tee or hot chocolate. The kettle is attractive and goes with most any decor. One only needs to fill it to the minimum line to have enough hot water for a large mug, and that amount heats up in less than a minute. The maximum fill line is 1.7 liters. The lid opens easily; just press the button on top and it flips open. It also opens wide, which makes it easy to fill with water. The blue lights appear when one turns it on, and they go off when the water heats up and boils.

So far the kettle works well. Mainly made of steel and glass, however under the lid is actually plastic unfortunately. Nevertheless I haven’t noticed any plastic taste or smell when boiling water from it.

I have only had this product for a week but totally LOVE IT !! It works just as described with no problems at all. The blue light while heating is very pleasing and stylish. It heats water very quickly and stays warm for much longer than I expected after the initial heating. There is no drip problems when pouring the water and the lid stays firmly locked. The very large capacity is great. I made a large pan of Jello and this worked great for the boiling water required and very fast. It is also very attractive on my counter and does not take up any more space than my previous hot water heater appliance. Being glass and stainless in construction I feel this product with last me a long time!

I received it in a shipping box that had a lot of empty space. The shipping box was in a little rough shape. Everything was fine when I opened the product box. It was very well packed and recycled materials were used. As my husband has a tendency to boil dry our original kettle, I’m very happy with the auto shutoff feature. My only complaint is that I think it should shut off right after it comes to a full roiling boil. It boils extremely fast when filling at the half liter mark. It takes about 5 minutes to boil at the 1.7L mark. It is plenty large enough. It is easy to clean. It does get a bit hot on the exterior which is to be expected. The handle Is beefy and easy to use. The kettle separates from the heating base so you don’t have to worry about a cord getting in the way. Overall I love this kettle. I tried to upload a couple of photos but kept getting error messages.
