It may seem extreme to be excited about a kettle, but I find this kettle a joy to use.If like me you or your family consume a variety of different drinks that are prepared with a kettle then like me you may apply guesswork to achieve different optimal temperatures. Enter this kettle with it’s six different temperature settings from 160 to 212 F making it easy to avoid under or over-heating the water. Not only does this improve drink quality but it also avoids unnecessary use of electricity by avoiding over-heating.The lid of the kettle opens fairly wide to allow for easy filling and there is a strainer to catch scale if you have hard water.During heating I find this kettle to be much quieter than my previous kettle, which was also from Hamilton Beach.In addition to the practical aspects, the kettle also appears very modern and stylish with the blue illumination during heating and the glass body enabling the heating water to be observed.So far I have not found anything that I do not like when using this kettle and, without hopefully sounding over the top, some of the above features actually bring a little joy during use.Whilst I received this product free of charge from the manufacturer for my impartial assessment and review, the above comments reflect my honest and unbiased opinion having used the kettle to prepare numerous drinks. I am in no way compensated beyond receipt of the product and there was no influence on my opinion from the manufacturer.

This glass kettle is really awesome! It heats very quickly, and stays ready due to the keep warm function. The auto shut off is a great safety feature and worked perfectly when I tested it. The kettle is much larger than I anticipated and the electric cord is approximately 24 inches long. It very easily connects to the base heating element and the settings on the handle are very clear. I highly recommend this kettle.

I love this kettle! It has 6 temperature settings so no more boiling water, or scorching so it really does make the perfect cup of tea and it will keep it warm for up to 30 minutes. It also has safety features and will shut off automatically if no water is in it and get gets turned on by accident. It has a base which has the plug so you don’t have to worry about plugs when serving your tea. All that and it looks really nice too. Love the black and stainless steel with the glass pot. Now go enjoy your tea.
