The coffee makers compact design makes it small enough to still fit under most standard cabinets, but it can brew up to 12-cups. While the Auto Grounds Dispensing Coffee Maker gives you consistent results, it also offers smart, flexible features, like programmable settings, three brewing options regular, bold and 1 to 4 cup and automatic pause and serve. A front-access water reservoir makes filling easier, and the swing-out brew basket has a sensor to let you know when the coffee basket needs to be cleaned out, so you wont accidentally fill a used filter. Overall, I really love this coffee maker. Sleek style, nice size, works great, easy to read digital display, has a clock, programmable, can make coffee as strong or weak as I want, accurate water level reading screen, and very easy to clean. I have made coffee in it multiple times and everything has gone great. Another feature I appreciate is the fact I can pour a cup of coffee before fully done brewing, without making a huge mess because it pauses. I also really like the fact that I can select, by a push of the button, how many “scoops” of coffee grounds I want released. The only issue I have is with the coffee ground holder on top, it is a little trickier to pour water into the machine, but it is still worth having the coffee grounds holder on top because I love that feature! On a side note, As much as I really like the fact a water filter can be used in this coffee maker, I think that the first filter should be automatically included in the box and not be a “sold separately” item. I am more apt to get hooked on using one if I get the first filter to try with the new machine vs going out and buying a filter, not knowing if I am going to find it worth spending money on, if I don’t try it out first. Just my opinion. Other than that, I am really happy with this coffee maker.

I am in love with my new Automatic Grounds Dispensing Coffee Maker because I only need to fill the coffee dispenser every 2-3 days. I have forgotten a few times to put the grounds in the coffee dispenser and my sister wasn’t a happy person the next morning as she awoke to hot water only and had to remake the coffee. I didn’t like this new coffee maker, at first, because it is much taller than the Hamilton Beach coffee maker I was using as the Coffee dispenser is located on top. After reading the instructions completely after our first use, I learned that it was not necessary to use the coffee dispenser if I didn’t want to. This makes it nice because I can use it for when we have company and not worry about how tall it is when using it on my countertop.

This is a great quality coffee maker. I love how it holds the grinds and released when you need it. The coffee comes out perfectly every time. I would definitely tell others to get this coffee maker!

Love that it holds the amount of coffee grounds that it does and that you dont have to get the pot ready every night. Only Con i can see is that it doesn’t grind the coffee beans. If that was a feature then it would definitely be AMAZING!!!

this is the nicest coffeemaker I have ever used. So excited about the fact I do not have to add the coffee everyday. Has so many nice options also you can make 12 cups,1-4 cups or bold. You press a button and filter compartment swings out to add your filter. It comes with a nice carafe, easy to pour. Cleaning brush. Also so easy to use. If you buy this machine you will not be disappointed. It makes great coffee.

I’ve had this coffeemaker for a few days, and am extremely pleased. Very simple to operate,to my surprise makes super hot coffee. Love that it remembers exactly how many cups and that I like it brewed bold. I also like that it stays nice and hot and doesn’t taste bitter or burned after a few cups. Thank you Hamilton Beach for another great product

Mindful of one’s counter space, this coffeemaker measures 9 inches wide, 11.50 inches deep, 13.75 inches high without the hopper attached, and 14.25 inches high with the hopper attached. One can choose from three modes of operation: manual, automatic, and programmed. In manual mode (with or without the hopper attached), one adds ground to the basket (using paper or reusable liner), adds water to the reservoir, and presses the I/O (brew now) button. In automatic mode, one fills the optional hopper with up to 12 oz. of GROUND coffee (it does not grind beans), fills the reservoir with water and, depending on the amount of water used, one selects the amount of coffee to be automatically added to the lined basket in tablespoon increments – up to 16 tablespoons (the coffeemaker “remembers” the last setting so no need to repeat every time), and then presses the I/O button. In programable mode, one follows the automatic mode steps except, instead of pressing the I/O button, one programs the coffeemaker to start at a predetermined time – upon which the coffee brews automatically. So, what’s the big deal? Using the hopper, one eliminates a coffee can or canister on the countertop (coffee should be stored at room temp – not the fridge). Unlike similar auto dispensed coffee makers, the hopper is air tight to minimize oxidation of the already ground beans. After each pot of coffee, I change the filter, add water and when I need a fresh pot, all I do is push the I/O button and voilà – no getting coffee canister and scoop, no fumbling around in a minimally lit kitchen at night or blurry eyed first thing in the morning, i.e., I eliminate the prospect of spilt coffee grounds on the counter or floor. Added features: the coffee maker will shut off after 2 hours of keep warm setting; can be set for regular or bold brew; and can use an optional water filter (not included). For me, the convenience is worth it. I have gotten into the habit of changing the filter and adding water after a fresh batch is brewed; for the next batch, I just push the I/O button and I’m done. Most importantly, my coffee strength is consistent: I add the same amount of water and have the dispenser set to deliver the same amount of coffee every time. For the added convenience and consistent cup of coffee, I highly recommend this coffee maker.

I love the way it measures the scoops for you. It gives a consistent taste to the coffee especially with many coffee drinkers in my house. I also love that you can store the coffee in the hopper on top less things on my counter. So far the coffee has stayed fresh. I like the reminders it gives you to add water or remove the old filter. I’m disappointed it doesn’t have a keep warm button. If you accidentally turn it off and then back on to keep it warm it wants to brew a new cycle even if you haven’t added water or any scoops. It’s a little hard to pour the very last of the water into the reservoir. The carafe pours nicely no spills. Overall it’s a very nice coffee maker that I would recommend.
