Functional and attractive. Operation is clear and intuitive, and it makes good coffee. The top lid for the water reservoir and coffee basket feels flimsy, but gives good access.The thermal carafe keeps coffee hot longer than I expected, but the carafe lid is a bit difficult to remove, and the rate at which coffee pours is rather slow. Overall, I’m quite satisfied.
