This coffee maker is exactly what I was looking for and I looked and looked for the combination of 10 cup with thermos carafe and good price. The only one I found with all the requirements, especially price. Coffee makers can be very expensive and I don’t need high-tech to drink a cup of coffee.

I am not a coffee drinker, but my husband drinks several cups throughout the day. I love the fact that I can make him a pot of coffee in the morning and it will be warm whenever he wants a cup. Not real hot toward the end of the day, but he likes it that way anyway. He does not like the ones that make just one cup. Says it is too much monkeying for him. We have had one for 3-4 years – through no fault of the coffee maker, but my own (I accidentally plugged it up), so I had to order a new one and I ordered the same one.

I love this coffee pot, I’ve had one for a few years and bought another for a backup because I love it so much. It makes the best tasting coffee and with the thermal pot it stays warm or quite awhile without getting that awful taste from sitting on a burner for too long. It has a timer so you can set it to brew whenever it works best for you and also has 3 different brew strengths. It uses cone filters which I believe is a reason the coffee comes out so tasty. Hope they never discontinue this model!

I had this same coffee maker years ago. The only reason I got rid of it then was the hard water yucked it up. This is probably the second best coffee maker I’ve ever had. I like that it is programmable, you can adjust the coffee strength settings and the metal carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours without the use of a burner or hot plate. The price made it a good buy.
