My first thought when I saw the coffee maker was how beautiful it was. I love the copper accents, it’s even on a band around the coffee pot itself. The shape of the pot is a bit unusual too. It’s tall and slender rather than short and stout. It’s obvious that a lot of thought and planning went into the appearance of this appliance. It’s a fresh, unique look that fits into my home perfectly!My second thought was how sturdy the machine felt when I lifted it out of the box–not heavy or bulky, just sturdy. I could tell immediately it was a high quality coffee maker, which is exactly what I expected from Hamilton Beach.Then there are all the features! This coffee maker gives you the ability to make the perfect cup of coffee with ease. I very much like that I can program the start time and choose between three brewing strengths. The clock display both looks nice and is easy to read. Something else that was a pleasant surprise, and that I appreciate, is that the pot does not drip when pouring from it.The one and only thing I’m not crazy about is that this coffee maker requires the use of a cone style filter, not my favorite. However, with all of the convenient, helpful, visually pleasing attributes of the machine, it is a very minor adjustment that I am happy to make. I am quite pleased with my new coffee maker, and looking forward to drinking a lot of delicious coffee in the years to come.
