This 12 cup programmable coffee maker really stands out. The design is sleek and it is very easy to set up and use. You have to use cone shaped coffee filters and it comes with 4 to get you started. I found this very easy to program as well as to clean. The easy grip handle on the pot makes it easy to remove to pour or clean. I found that my coffee was brewed perfectly and stayed warm . I love everything about this coffee maker and highly recommend it!

Its a good straightforward machine. Not a lot of bells and whistles which is what we wanted. The coffee is hot…which is NOT the case with a couple other machines we tried. My only small complaint is I cannot figure out how to get the top of the pot to slide off so I can load the pot into my dishwasher. Maybe I am missing something but it doesn’t easily slide or snap off like other machines I have used.

The Hamilton Beach 12 cup programmable coffee maker has easily readable program buttons. The upfront display provides you with buttons to program coffee brewing strength and also brewing for smaller number of cups. The maker will also automatically shut off. The 12 cup gauge on the side of the pot will allow easy access to judge the amount of water in the water reservoir. The one thing I was not impressed with was the small opening for you to add water into the water reservoir, behind the coffee reserve. Adding water with the carafe ended up with the water not only spilling over the edge of the pot but also spilling into the coffee reserve. Generally all and all I found this appliance sufficient.
