I received this coffee maker a week ago. And I am really enjoying it using it. The red color is beautiful and very eye-catching. It matches the decor in my kitchen so I was super pleased with that. Getting it set up to use is a breeze. It’s very nice that you can Brew both a K-Cup or ground coffee. I was happy to see that it came with a grounds basket rather than me having to purchase one separately. It is compatible with any K-Cup pod. There is a regular or a bold Brew option. You can Brew up to 10 ounces with a single serve pod or 14 oz of ground coffee. I also like that the tray is removable so you can either have your small cup or take away the tray and put in your travel mug. There’s an easy View Water window from the front and side so you can always know how much water you have in the reservoir. Brewing a cup does not take a long time. My cups of coffee always come out perfect and just the right temperature. I like my coffee hot. This coffee maker has been great for days whenever I am on the go and don’t have time to wait for a whole pot of coffee to brew. I just put in my pod or grounds basket whichever I’m in the mood for that day and pop it shut. Let it brew and then head out the door. I am so happy with this coffee maker. It’s a game-changer for me. And even more so on the days where I wake up before the whole family because this Brewer is so quiet. I don’t have to worry about it waking everyone else up because of noises. My days will be so much easier from from now on.

This item makes very good coffee. Of course, convenience wise, it’s not as user friendly as my full-size Keurig was, takes a bit longer to brew and you can only prepare water reservoir for one cup at a time. But for the price, I am very happy with the product.

It brews coffee quicker than a regular coffee maker. I enjoy the convenience of making just one cup, rather than brewing a whole pot of coffee. I prefer my coffee fresh and piping hot and that is exactly what I get every time with this machine. You have the flexibility to brew single serve packs or single serve ground coffee. Both options require only a few simple steps. For single serve packs, place the cup into the funnel and choose between regular or brew bold. For single serve ground coffee, add a maximum of 3 tablespoons to the brew basket, place it in the funnel and choose your brew intensity. The lid latch on this machine locks into place to prevent spills. You can choose to brew a 6, 8, 10, 12 or 14-oz cup of coffee. The removable cup rest and drip tray ensures that clean up is a breeze. With daily use and proper maintenance, the needle will not clog. The color of the machine is very rich and beautiful. It definitely stands out amongst my other small kitchen appliances. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with the Hamilton Beach Red FlexBrew Single Plus Coffee Machine. It is flexible, easy to use and quickly makes an amazing cup of coffee!

The first thing is that this is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. The second that is it does not hold water in the reservoir for later, meaning there’s no select a cup size. Whatever amount of water you put in there is what will come out. That’s not a bad thing but just be aware of it. I really like that there’s both a K cup pod as well as a regular ground coffee pod. It’s easy to clean initially and easy to maintain. I like that the extra pod can store in the bottom so I don’t lose it. The coffee tastes great and I love that anyone can make a quick cup of hot chocolate without my help. A big favorite here!

Thank you for the lovely present and it’s red, my favorite, a dream to use. The Hamilton Beach FlexBrew is the first single use coffee maker I’ve ever had or tried and it is wonderful. I had already purchased a few of the pods in anticipation so when it came I unpacked the box and sat down with the instruction manual. After reading it carefully, I plugged in the machine, placed my cup on the base under the spout, inserted the pod in the funnel, pressing down to make sure it was seated properly, poured in the correct amount of water – checking the water window on the side – and pushed the Bold Brew and waited. It didn’t take very long and suddenly I was surrounded by the aroma of the Creamy Hazelnut coffee and transported in my mind to a small coffee shop in Seattle when on vacation many years ago – back to reality – and finally, the last drops were in the cup and I pressed the button again and the light went out, the machine was off and my cup of coffee was ready. I opened the top, taking out the used pod and dropped it into the trash can. Soon, I was sitting in my favorite chair and when I took my first sip of my coffee I sighed. It was wonderful, and every cup I’ve made since has been great. Then surprise – I found the other funnel. Now, I can use my ground coffee as well as the pods. Hamilton Beach thinks of everything. Again, thank you for the lovely present. It is going to be so much fun trying so many different hot beverages during the cold days of winter and with the Holidays around the corner – it’s time to go shopping.

I am very happy with this neat little appliance. I especially am excited about the ability to use both pods and ground coffee…while pods are so convenient for busy days, I do find that ground coffee tends to be more flavorful. Speaking of which, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is a setting for a bolder taster, regardless of whether using a pod or the basket for ground coffee—which is included, so no need to purchase a reusable pod for that. The basket has a nice firm seal when closed, so you will not experience the rogue coffee grounds that escape into your coffee, as can be the case with most of the reusable pods you purchase.It heats quickly, within a minute or so, and the water is heated to deliver a nice cup of hot coffee, not tepid. Cleaning and maintenance is quick, no complicated system of parts to become frustrated with. The ability to store the basket right in the machine is a thoughtful feature, too. I really appreciate that the machine takes up minimal real estate on the countertop. It’s a sleek, compact machine that I am really enjoying using. I have the red unit, which is a nice vibrant, cheerful shade that mixes well with the stainless steel or black or white appliances you might have in your space.

I was sent this product to try, I have never had one like this. It works easily, looks nice, I like that it has its own hinged brew cup so you can you your own coffee and stores out of sight. I also like that you can use a taller cup without much problem, and that when it is done, it automatically shuts off. Price for this is reasonable.

I received a Hamilton Beach Red FlexBrew Single Plus coffee maker from to test for the Ambassador’s Club about 3 weeks ago. It is so quick and easy to make a good single cup or mug of fresh coffee. Ground coffee can be used with the brew basket or single serve pods can be put in the single-serve pack holder. Cleanup is no problem. I love having a fresh cup of coffee whenever I like instead of coffee that has been setting for hours.

If you are looking for a nice hot cup of coffee, this is the machine! It is so simple to use and I love the fact that you can use a regular sized cup or a travel sized cup. It comes with a storage compartment in the bottom of the cup stand to keep parts you aren’t using, which is so convenient. In the past, I’ve had to buy a separate accessory to use ground coffee but this one comes with it! I like that it has a regular brew and bold brew. Some mornings I need a little stronger coffee than others so it’s nice to have that option. I also like that it has a little window on the side to see how much water you put in it, which let’s me make sure I don’t overflow it with my travel mug. It takes about 3 minutes to brew a cup and when it’s finished, it shuts off so I don’t have to worry about it. Definitely worth the buy, I love mine!

I received the red flex brew coffee maker last week. At first there was a learning curve with the right amount of coffee grounds in basket to water amount, but then we got the correct ratio and it makes a great pipping hot cup of coffee. Have not used the k-cup option yet, buy plan to.The cord is right length , so there is not a lot of cord getting in the way. Love the steel plated back splash in cup area, so if anything splashes will see right away and can clean. The water level is easy to read. It does a minute or 2 to make a cup as you add cold water every time you make a cup.. No water reservoir. Large enough space in back of unit where you fill water, so no concerns of water spilling when filling.I would suggest if using a 14oz cup, you select the bold button, otherwise the coffee might be on the weaker side. I first chose the regular button as I do not like strong coffee, but to weak, tried bold and perfect.Sleek foot print on counter, does not take up a lot of space. Basket to use when using own coffee grounds is very easy to clean, just empty and rinse. Overall a good stylish unit .
