I have it already for a week and love it. Can use a mug, or travel mug. A mug can be up to 8 ounces with the tray on it and travel mug up to 14 ounces and no more than 8 inches high. Can use K- cup or ground coffee. Have the option for regular or bold coffee. Also have a window that you can see how much water is in it and automatic shut off. You can remove the cup holder to fit the travel mug and you can storage the filters on it. Can remove the parts for easy cleaning. To clean inside I use water with white vinegar run it and then run just water for two or three time. I will recommend cleaning the filters right away because the oils and residues from the coffee ground can stay in the filter and do not brew completely. I clean mine with hot soapy water and then submerge in warm water with white vinegar ratio 1:1. I suggest buy an extra filter.

Best individual coffee maker I’ve found. I can make a fresh cup of coffee from 6 to 14 ounces. No stale water sitting for days. The end result is an extremely hot cup of coffee which is especially appreciated by those who add cream. It’s very easy to use and clean. Parts are dishwasher safe. Extra plus is the fun red color which looks great in our kitchen!

This has exactly what I need from a coffee maker. I makes a good cup of coffee with little fuss. The brewed coffee is a drinking temperature that I like, not so hot that I have to let it cool before drinking. I also like the fact that directions (max fill, needle cleaning, etc.) are printed right on the coffee maker – no need to go digging for the owner’s manual. I also like that freshwater is used for each brew, not stored in a plastic container attached to the brewer (I use bottled water). The only issue I have found (maybe do to my placement on the counter and the fact that I am short) is that when pouring water from the cup into the water tanks, the water runs down the side of the cup and on to the counter. I now keep a cup with a spout next to the coffee maker.

This coffee maker can use k-pods or loose coffee, and includes the containers to do either!!!! The brew basket stores the loose coffee pod conveniently out of the way but easily accessible. The unit measures about 9 inches from front to back, about 13.5 from top to bottom, and about 6.5 from side to side. The electrical cord is roughly 26 inches long. Takes no time to heat up, and you can brew either regular or bold. It holds an over sized coffee mug comfortably, but you can remove the brew basket to easily accommodate a taller travel container. It’s also easy to see the max fill water line. Definitely recommend this product.

I like the one cup aspect of this brewer. I can use pods or ground coffee. I prefer the bold setting to normal brew. While I enjoy pour over for single cups of coffee, this is great when I don’t have that much time. Clean up is simple. Set up was simple as well. Coffee is comparable to other pod brewers.

After unpacking the FlexBrew, I had to decide where to put it in my kitchen. The logical place was next to my Bunn. It doesn’t take up as much room as the Bunn & is about the same size as the Keuring at work. From pushing the start button, it took about 3 min to brew a cup of coffee using my own coffee instead of a pre-packed pod. I plan on using it in the afternoon or night when I don’t want to brew a whole pot of coffee. Since I like strong coffee, I especially like the bold brew button in addition to the regular start button. A good value compared to the price of a Keuring.

I was prepared to seek out any faults or problems with this appliance, surprise, There were none. I have brewed and K-cupped at least three cups a day and am now a dedicated Flex Brew fan.

First of all I love the color. Matches well with the other red colored kitchen gadgets. I do like that this coffee maker isn’t bulky, so it’s not going to take up too much counter space. What is great about this coffee maker, is that you can use a k-cup, or use your own coffee grounds using the grounds basket that is included. With having the grounds basket included, you have many options of coffee to brew. The coffee maker starts up quickly and coffee is done in no time. I do recommend reading the booklet. You can’t just fill the water reservoir up. The coffee maker will continuing brewing with whatever amount of water you put in. So if you only want to fill an 8 oz cup with coffee, then only put 8 ozs of water in the reservoir. If you put more then it will overflow. If you have a tall cup or tumbler you want to use, the bottom part is removable so your cup will fit. It’s so easy to use this machine, just pop in a k-cup or pop in the grounds basket. I can still buy my freshly ground coffee beans, and use with this machine, so for me the grounds basket is a plus. Overall it’s a great, easy to use coffee maker.

I am thrilled with my new FlexBrew. This was purchased to replace my old FlexBrew. As much as I liked my old one, there were some design issues that annoyed me. This new design has solved those annoying issues, which makes me love it more! Love the color. It looks and feels well built. I like that the water reservoir and the pod compartment are separate now. I also love the cup platform with the compartment for the brew basket. That is super space saving AND I don’t have to worry about breaking a cup if the platform isn’t hooked in all the way like the old one. The blade to open the bottom of the pod has been replaced with a needle which makes it more compatible with a variety of coffee pods and doesn’t have moving parts to wear out. One con is that I do not like water level windows. It’s a personal preference because I’m paranoid about bacteria. I think a vinegar clean out will be sufficient. I will just want to do it more often. One of my favorite things about FlexBrews is that everything can be washed easily. This is taller than the old FlexBrew, which means I have to pull it out from under my cabinet to fill it, but that’s small stuff. Just be aware of the size difference if you are looking for a replacement to an older model. I highly recommend.

I like that it can use a travel mug. Make coffee in the same mug as for traveling on the road. You can use a single-serve pack, which is handy. But it is terrible for cleaning using ground coffee, unless you use a #1 paper cone filter.

I had been wanting a single cup brewer for some time, but had heard many negatives about the main brand. I was so happy to see Hamilton Beach make one. I have many of their small appliances and have come to trust the brand. This item is no exception. Works great, offers the convenience of a single cup, perfect temperature and works quickly. Could not ask for more!
