From fresh grounds to K-Cup pods, the Hamilton Beach FlexBrew 2-Way Coffee Maker gives you the options to please fans of all types of coffees and quantities. This combo coffee maker lets you brew a full pot using your favorite grounds on the carafe side, or make a cup for yourself using a single-serve pod or grounds on the single-serve side. Each side has an easy-fill water reservoir with separate windows, so there’s never any confusion or over-filling. You can also choose between regular or bold brew strength on both sides. The full-pot side brews up to 12 cups of coffee using grounds. It includes a programmable clock with 2-hour keep warm cycle and automatic shutoff, automatic pause and serve. The single-serve side can brew up to 10 oz. with single-serve pod, or 14 oz. travel mug with grounds. A removable cup rest doubles as a storage container for single-serve pods or to hold the brew basket.

For the most part it has been great. However it doesn’t make hot chocolate…it just comes out like chunky brown water and gets blobs of unresolved chocolate chunks on the inside of the pod space. I emailed Hamilton Beach but I didn’t hear back!

I really needed this machine. I had to order it online as it was not in stock in any of the stores around me. I did have to wait 2 weeks to get it which was a bummer, but it was well worth the wait. I LOVE this brew station. I can’t say enough good things about it. It truly has simplified my life. I use the single serve side to make my daily morning cup of coffee, and it’s so quick and easy. The left side I use to brew some ice tea for a gal of sweet tea. It’s perfect for what I needed. GREAT BUY…

I got to test out the Hamilton Beach Flex Brewer coffee machine for a week and boy am I impressed. This coffee machine really does it all, from brewing a 12-cup pot of coffee, single k-pod servings, even to brewing loose leaf tea and ground coffee. The design aesthetic is impressive, as it fits comfortably below my cabinets in a tight kitchen corner. It’s also just a little wider than most pod brewing systems, which makes it ideal as a replacement. The buttons are functional and easy to press, programming coffee at 6am is easy and I didn’t need to read the owner’s manual to do so. There are many attachments which provides even more functionality and practicality to the flex brew system. The machine overall is actually pretty quiet, so makes quiet brewing times effective when trying to study or fulfill work. The 12-cup brewing takes a good ten minutes for a 6-12 cups of coffee, otherwise, if you’re in a rush, I’d recommend using the single serve method. The weight of the machine is made out of plastic, except for the drip catcher which is aluminum. Otherwise, a very light machine to carry around. Considering the Hamilton Beach Flex Brewer for your home, apartment, or workplace, I’d highly recommend purchasing this unit for your coffee, tea, or other needs, as this machine has totally replaced all of my brewing systems altogether. Extremely happy, and can’t wait to show it off to those who visit and stay over.
