From fresh grounds to K-Cup pods, the Hamilton Beach FlexBrew 2-Way Coffee Maker gives you the options to please fans of all types of coffees and quantities. This combo coffee maker lets you brew a full pot using your favorite grounds on the carafe side, or make a cup for yourself using a single-serve pod or grounds on the single-serve side. Each side has an easy-fill water reservoir with separate windows, so there’s never any confusion or over-filling. You can also choose between regular or bold brew strength on both sides. The full-pot side brews up to 12 cups of coffee using grounds. It includes a programmable clock with 2-hour keep warm cycle and automatic shutoff, automatic pause and serve. The single-serve side can brew up to 10 oz. with single-serve pod, or 14 oz. travel mug with grounds. A removable cup rest doubles as a storage container for single-serve pods or to hold the brew basket.

Great Coffee Maker! I love the flexibility: carafe with access in the top of the unit to fill water and coffee, pod or one cup with ground coffee…The one cup adapter works well with loose tea also. Great Feature: the adapter has its own storage bin built into the unit… Water level guides for both carafe and one cup are also a great feature. NOTE: The bold coffee setting really means BOLD! Note: it takes a little work to clean out the ground coffee one-cup adapter…

I received my FlexBrew 2 Way coffee maker last week. We have been using it a few times each day. When making a pot of coffee, we love that the coffee is very hot and fresh tasting once brewed. The unit does not make much sound during brewing and is very easy to program. It does not give the option to set how long the warmer stays on – the unit cuts off after two hours. When using the single cup option, the unit makes a lot of noise but works properly. We did not realize that if you fill up the single cup reservoir to the max limit, all the water will come out once you start the brewing option. This does not give you the option to keep extra water in the reservoir like our prior unit did. We have started placing a container of water on that side of the unit as a reminder.There is a removable cup rest / storage container on the Single cup side that stores the brew basket funnel (for ground coffee use). It is very difficult to place the funnel in the container and get the lid to go back on flat. If you don’t have the lid on flat, your mug will tilt over. We ended up placing the brew basket funnel in a cabinet since we mostly use the single cup and not ground coffee. Overall we like the unit and would purchase again if something happened to this one.

i like it , deep basket so it doesn’t overflow , normal basket type filters so less coffee grounds than a Melita filter , water tank easier to fill than my last coffee maker , and I haven’t even tried the single cup side yet . Just fill your coffee cup with water dump it in the tank and put in your coffee choice and hit the button . Bingo
