The Scoop Single-Serve Coffeemaker goes where no coffeemaker has gone before, brewing hotter, faster and better-tasting coffee than most gourmet machines out there. And, its benefits don’t stop there. The Scoop Coffeemaker utilizes the simplicity of ground coffee and brews a customizable cup quickly: an 8 oz. cup in less than 90 seconds or a 14 oz. travel mug in under two-and-a-half minutes. This is my second Hamilton Beach single serve and I love it. I save money not buying K cups and I don’t produce as much garbage with those cups. Great product.

The Scoop Coffee Maker does its job as well as advertised, although not quite as well as the 20-year-old Melitta that it was bought to replace. The Scoop takes me 3 scoops of whole beans to make the same strength of coffee as the Melitta did with 2, because even on the Bold setting, the water gets hotter and runs through faster in the Scoop, resulting in less coffee extraction from the grounds. The Scoop is more designed to get done faster and get out the door sooner.

I feel it being stainless steel that it will last. Perfect for ground coffee so you don’t have to buy the k-cups. Had an issue at first, it wasn’t completing the brew. Put it on a LEVEL surface and no problems since.

This is the THIRD one of these coffee makers I have bought, which originally was called the Scoop! My original also came with two of the baskets that the coffee grounds go in, but they are all really great coffee makers, especially in this price range. I gave the second and third ones as gifts and the new owners love them as well. NO filters to buy, Easy to operate, Easy to clean, and makes a nice hot cup of java quickly. You also have the option of an 8 oz mug or a 14 oz. travel cup, just by flipping the bottom ‘drain’ piece over. I always brew mine on ‘Bold’ which drips the water through the system a little slower, for a stronger cup of coffee, but you have two options on that as well. Great coffee maker for a great price!

some of the grounds got into the small strainer, but maybe that’s to be expected and that’s why they have the 2nd strainer.the price is reasonable. it goes to show that you don’t need to spend a lot of money to have a great product.

I have had this for a couple of years. We put it up and then took it out again. I prefer my coffee stronger than my husband does. This allows us to have it our way! Going to purchase another for my son who has a couple of roommates.
