I used this to make a fruit smoothie and a shake so far. It definitely gets the job done. I’m going to be using it soon to blend sauce for lasagna. I really like the Auto Smoothie button and the glass carafe is super easy to clean and doesn’t stain like my old plastic one. It’s pretty compact and doesn’t take up much room. Very nice!

I received this blender for free and was asked to give my honest opinion of it. I have a great video of the first time I used it, but can’t get it to upload. I tried the smoothie recipe that came with the blender. I had milk, yogurt, and frozen fruit in it. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and easily everything blended together. There is an auto smoothie button that starts first with pulses to break up the frozen items and then blends. The spout for pouring works great!I like the glass pitcher with it’s wave action shape – no need for a spatula to make sure everything mixes.The design is sleek and the buttons are easy to use. I gave the design a good rating because you have to make sure the cover for the spout and the vent for hot liquids are snapped shut. If they aren’t things come out of the top. I gave easy to clean a good rating because I have concerns about the rubber gasket around the blades. It doesn’t sit on top of the blades base like other blenders I’ve used. It is fitted around the base. I’m worried that over time I won’t be able to clean everything out. The other reason it because the base that attaches the blades to the pitcher is hollow on the bottom side. If you don’t set it the right direction to dry to will hold water.These things are minor when it comes to this blender. It is built solidly, looks great, and most importantly does the job well.

I replaced my previous small blender and upgraded to this awesome Smoothie Blender. I primarily use it to blend my protein shake with frozen or fresh fruits, tough veggies and ice. I plug it in, press the On button, press the Auto Smoothie button and it does it’s thing, pulses and all. This blender is loud and powerful. As long as you have enough liquid it will easily blend anything you put in it. The collar and blade assemble perfectly – I’ve never had a spill. The lid has a vent – very convenient when adding more liquid without stopping the process. The lid also has a spout with a cap – because no one likes spills on the counter!!!The jar is made of sturdy glass but not super heavy. It also has a Clean button that I haven’t used yet but the jar, lid, cutting blade and collar are all dishwasher safe.

We LOVE this machine. I kids have fruit and vegetable smoothies and this machine makes AWESOME ones!! With frozen fruit (including solid bananas), yogurt, berries, spinach and honey, this blender makes smoothies so THICK they are like ice cream!! The smoothie setting make quick work of even the hardest, frozen fruit and blends ever thing extremely fast. The blender operates quietly and without wobble thanks to the rubber feet. It has an amazing capacity of 40 ounces; which can make enough for four people to have a great treat!! The container is GLASS and all the mixing parts are dishwasher safe; which is a definite plus if you are using it as often as we do. HIGHLY recommend this blender!!!

Owned blenders for 50 years. Nice replacement. DO NOT leave a spoon in any glass jar blender like my younger brother. It will explode! That being said. Easy to clean and store, fairly compact. Excellent for smoothies. Good value.

We used it all but 1 Day if the two weeks I was there. We made smoothies, we made daiquiris, and this blender works better than any I’ve ever had. It doesn’t take long at all to make the perfect smoothie or frozen drink. My daughter was so impressed with it, she went and bought one. Once again Hamilton Beach hits one out of the park. I am so glad I picked this product to review. I have had a smoothie maker in the past and only used it a couple of times. Had problems getting the smoothie out of the machine. The pouring spout on this product is awesome! My smoothie came out so thick and lucious…just like at the smoothie bars. I cannot wait to make some for my grandkids along with various milk shakes. The machine is so easy to use and cleans up in a snap. I will be using this on a daily basis and highly recommend it.

The auto blending button is the best. Put all ingredients in and hit the auto blending button then let the machine do its magic. So much better than a regular blender for perfect smoothies. The clean button is just an added bonus! Wonderful machine
