I haven’t used this much so I can’t speak for how long it lasts, however it is very easy to assemble. My last blender didn’t come apart which is why I got this one. Something got stuck and since I couldn’t get the blades off for cleaning it was useless. This one has a removable blade assembly (not removable blades but a removable assembly). It is easy to put together and does a good job pulling water down towards the blades. Overall I would recommend for use
