I received this product to review. I have always been a little terrified of blenders. When I was young 3 different blenders started smoking on me while trying to blend ice. So I was hesitant. I went ahead and tried to make a margarita. To my surprise it was such a smooth blend. I have never been so excited. The noise was subtle as well. This will be a regularly used appliance in my home. BLENDS TO PERFECTION.

I love that it’s glass and cleaning it is very easy for me. My last blender stopped working so this is now my salsa blender and it did a good job. My only complaint was that it started to leak a little bit from the pour spout while I was blending. Overall I’m happy with it because it blended my ingredients to the consistency that I wanted them.

The Hamilton Beach Hamilton Beach Wave Crusher Blender comes in glass jar option. We have been making smoothies and crushing frozen blueberries in it. Also making frozen frappes have been so easy with this crusher. There are so many options to choose between while using the blender. Cleaning is a breeze. If I fell sometimes if anything stuck….just add water a pinch of dish liquid and blend it and the jar is clean as new. Loving my blender and hope you like yours.

Pros: Did a great job of blending a smoothie and crushing ice. It’s sturdy, easy to clean and its blades are not sharp to the touch, so that’s a good safety feature. Compared to my old Hamilton Beach blender, it’s much quieter than I expected. I really like the spout on the lid. The lid also has a small opening with lift-up cover to add things as you’re blending. The lid fits very securely onto the glass jar. The glass jar is standard size and I can make smoothies or shakes in it for multiple people. The blender comes with a plastic travel jar as well, which is nice when I want to make a smoothie for myself in the mornings. The first time I used it I made a milkshake with ice cream and frozen fruit. It did a good job of blending all ingredients and the milkshake turned out pretty well.Cons: Based on its size, I expected more functions like a conventional blender. Also, it’s a bit heavier and bulkier than I expected, for being mostly a milkshake and smoothie blender. There’s an opening on the back of the base for cord storage (I think), but it was hard to fold the cord to store inside the opening.Based on its limited functions, I would not recommend this product to a friend. I would recommend another model with more features.

I absolutely love this Hamilton Beach Wave Crusher Blender! It doesn’t take up a lot of space, is relatively quieter compared to other blenders. It’s powerful, easy to work, lloks great on the counter and I have been using it non stop since I got it. The base is very sturdy so it doesn’t “travel” when you use it, the actual jar is solid and dishwasher safe.We’ve been making smoothies almost everyday! Did I say, I LOVE it?! 🙂

I used this blender to make a strawberry milkshake using frozen strawberries. I like the fact that it has a wide base which is easy to remove and re-attach. There were less settings than I was expecting. With “crusher” in the name, I thought it would crush the strawberries quicker.
