And the best part is, you never have to scrape the bowl or hand-mix at the end – the planetary mixing action rotates the beaters around the entire bowl, for even and complete mixing. Seven speeds lets you go from a slow stir to a fast mix, with exact control at each one. Plus, a helpful guide at the mixer’s top lets you know which speed to use for various mixing methods. Nonslip feet keep the mixer still while in use, and the splatter shield guards against messy drips, drops and spills. Attachments include a flat beater, dough hook and whisk. All attachments, as well as the stainless steel 4-quart mixing bowl, are dishwasher safe for fast cleanup.

I love this mixer! And I would like to thank Hamilton Beach for allowing me to test their product as an Ambassador! When I unpacked the Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the parts and attachments, which include a flat beater, dough hook, and whisk. Also included was a splatter shield, which can come in very handy and a booklet with user friendly instructions and bonus recipes. For my first baking project, I chose to make Homemade Peanut Butter Dog Treats for our two dogs. The recipe calls for only four ingredients and makes a very thick dough. I used the flat beater to mix the ingredients together and then switched to the dough hook, which helped with the kneading process – so much better than using my hands! This mixer has 7 speeds and is much more versatile than my hand-held mixer. Clean-up was a breeze. Now comes the hard part – deciding which recipe to make next. Maybe the Sour Cream Coffee Cake or the Simple Yeast Rolls, which are included in the booklet. My final comment: I am very happy with the Hamilton Beach 7 Speed Stand Mixer and can’t wait to move on to my next baking project!

I always wanted a stand mixer, but could not afford one and was gifted this early just in time for Christmas baking.Powered right through mixing cookies, pie crusts, and bread dough. Especially like the splatter guard to keep ingredients in the bowl while also allowing additional ingredients to be added during mixer operation without having to stop and tilt-up the head to access the bowl.The dual handled bowl allows a better grip for carrying when full given the rheumatoid arthritis in my hands.

Seems to have good power, but, Hamilton Beach claims that their mixer will get all the way to the sides of the bowl where scrapping the sides of the bowl isn’t necessary. That’s not true. It doesn’t. And since the bowl doesn’t turn, you have to stop mixer, put head up, and scrape sides of bowl . Wast of time. Not to happy about Hamilton Beach misleading buyers. I’m sure they know it doesn’t get the sides of the bowl as they claim. Shame on them!!!

This black mixer is great. I love how easy it is to use and the attachments are great. I have only had a mixer with no attachments so it’s great to have options. The splatter shield does a good job of keeping contents in the bowl and not all over the counter. Also love the handle on the bowl.
