This is a very attractive looking metallic red mixer. It is well built. Positive featuresinclude a convenient handle on top to carry, a splatter proof lid for the mixing bowl, a helpful mixing guide printed on top of the blender, and strong grippers on the bottom.Also the handles on the mixing bowl makes it easy to remove when done using. The noise level is pleasantly lower than I expected and the performance itself isexcellent. The only downside I have is that I wish the power cord was a little longer.I would definitely recommend buying this product.

Hamilton Beach sent his free stand mixer to me for evaluation, but opinions expressed here are my own.I was expecting a red plastic tinkertoy, but this is not the case. The very attractive, full-size mixer is quite sturdy at around 14 pounds and it does not look cheap. However, at only 300 watts, it is not recommended for constant heavy-duty work. Otherwise, it’s very versatile with a locking stainless steel bowl, a fitted splatter shield and 3 attachments: A nonstick flat beater with KitchenAid-style bowl scraping action, a whisk and a nonstick dough hook for bread making. The instruction manual includes several easy recipes to get you started.This stand mixer would make a great gift, especially at big box store prices.

I received this mixer to review. First I made Meringue cookies. Beating egg whites properly needs good speed and this mixer did a great job. I like the splatter shield that slides on the bowl and the suction feet stick really tight to my counter. Then I made bread and the dough hook did a great job mixing in the flour around the perimeter of the bowl. The tilt head locks in place and all you need to do is hold in the button when you lift or lower the head. It is lighter than my old Kitchen Aid, lol. This Mixer is a winner for me. I really like that it has 7 speeds and there is a handy mixing guide on the handle and that the bowl and beaters are all dishwasher safe.
