I ordered this combination stand/hand mixer despite owning an expensive stand mixer. I needed the hand mixer in order to make 7 minute boiled icing & also whipped cream. The extra power surge feature is great if you’re in a hurry. Being light & portable, I often prefer it for doing cake mixes too.

Purchased this Hamilton Beach 4 Qt. 6 speed mixer for my daughter for Christmas. So far, she love it and uses it once a week for cakes and muffins. She love the attachments, which, she was very surprised to receive, as part of mixer set. She was doing all of her mixing by hand, before she received this mixer, so she really appreciate and love it. Highly recommends.

It’s ok, really good looking and the hang mixer is awesome, but it it doesn’t work much as a stand mixer since it doesn’t really get to the bottom of the bowl 🙁
