We all want to eat healthier in this day and age but finding the time can be elusive. The Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Plus 2 Speed Juice extractor is an excellent tool towards that goal. Keeping fresh fruits and vegetables on hand washed and ready to go allows a nutritious glass of juice to be prepared in very little time. The large “Big Mouth” feeder chute accommodates most fruits and vegetables whole. Very little precutting is required. The included covered pitcher collects the juice and prevents any froth from entering your juice glass. The 2 speeds allow adjustment for soft or firm produce for efficient extraction. Clean up is easy if you follow a few basic steps. Place a small bag in the pulp collection container for easy removal for disposal or compost. Some pulp can also be used in recipes. The basket should be soaked in soapy water for a few minutes immediately after use so that no food dries on it. The included brush can then be used to complete cleaning. You may then hand wash all pieces except the base or use the dishwasher without the sanitizer feature. Reassemble and you are ready for your next juice adventure. I love my Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Plus 2 Speed Juice Extractor. I look forward to experimenting with many types of produce and developing a list of healthy favorites.

This product is great to make healthy drinks even some that I tried but didn’t taste so great. I guess It will be a trial and error of different fruits and vegetables. The only suggestion I have is that the side container that collects the pulp should be latches on somehow..

This Hamilton Beach juicer is well made. I like the big mouth that you can put whole fruit and veggies in. My favorite is the carrot, apple with ginger. Also you can make awesome broth from the vegetable pulp. Also the clean up is a snap.

First juicer I’ve ever had. I think it’s great. I didn’t have anything squirt out the hole on side of lid. Don’t know what the other people did but I’ve used it several times and it works great. There is a lot of parts to clean but one trick I loved is putting a plastic bag in the catcher. That worked out really well. Yes I had to cut my apples up, the spout is not big enough to fit an apple but that didn’t bother me. The chopper piece was a little hard to clean. They give you a brush to clean it. It helped a lot.

I have been a fan of juicing for a long time. However, the two juicers that I have tried before had many issues. (Granted, this was some time ago, and the technology has improved.) . My previous juicer leaked juice all over the counter, so I didn’t use it very often. We all know how juicing is good for our health. I am happy to say that this product is easy to use, and does NOT create a mess! I like that it has a big chute, that reduces prep work. You can feed most whole products in to it! My only “somewhat” complaint, is that it is a little difficult to clean. but that gets easier the more that I use it. I know that there are more expensive and “fancier” juicers out there, but I highly recommend it for the average consumer.

We typically buy in bulk to take advantage of the cost savings, produce is usually really cheap while in season and expensive or unavailable out of season. With a juicer we can buy large quantities and when the fruit or vegetables gets close to its “shelf life” we can process it and freeze the juice in cubes to be used later in smoothies. We’ve used older juicers in the past that were much harder to use. This one you simply insert the fruit or vegetables (really want to make almond milk with it but haven’t yet) and the machine does the rest quite efficiently. It has a large discharge can that catches the waste and a large measuring cup that catches the juice. Clean up is easy, empty the waste can and rinse all the parts that contact the item inserted. Would recommend to anyone needing a larger juicer.

Love that the juicer is electric. I make himemade limoncello and have at least 20-25 lemons to zest….it helped me with juicing the lemons for lemonade, saved me some pain in my hands from my manual juicer. Also made a healthy green drink, that I dont particularly care for, with kale, careots lemons etc., it had fewer chunks and the kales was actually broken down more making the drink smoother and easier to drink. What a difference to use. Easy set up and fast cleanup. Definitely a benefit for me and my household.
