This food processor is just what I needed for all my holiday prep…chopped cranberries and pureed oranges for fresh cranberry relish, shredded cabbage for slaw, shredded cheeses and sliced potatoes for au gratin potatoes, plus chopped nuts for cookies, quick fresh salsa, etc. It holds 12 cups! Cooking for a crowd just got so much easier! The blades are very sharp, making a super quick job of things. The processor is easy to rinse and clean and can go in the dishwasher. It has two blades–one for thick shredding and slicing, and one for finer shredding and slices–and a nice sharp chopping blade useful for so many things. I love this thing…no longer dreading all the prep work for preparing a feast for family and friends. Good job Hamilton Beach!

This scared me a little bit because it is so tall. Was afraid that my cabinets wouldn’t hold such a tall appliance. Grated cheese and it was fast and quick and all the cheese was about the same size. Definitely something that’s going to be a great benefit come the holidays when things have to be grated and processed.

The things this processor does is amazing! It cuts my food prepping by way more than half! Changing cutting pates is a breeze and cleans up in no time. Definitely happy with this product.

I have had several food processors over the years, and since this Hamilton Beach was so reasonably priced, I was a little concerned that the function might not meet my needs. So, I put it through its paces, and made cauliflower rice, salsa, hummus, sliced cucumbers, sliced potatos for scalloped potatos, chopped onions and peppers for my omelettes, sliced and shredded cheeses for casseroles, and sliced tons of veggies for stir frys. I stopped there. It was still ready to keep going, but I needed a break. This machine performed wonderfully. It is really powerful, and has a large 12 cup bowl, so I didn’t have to keep emptying it everytime I turned around. It takes whole food through its large feed tube, which not only cuts down on prep time, you also have alot less mess to clean up, since there is not as much cutting up of the food before you process it. The bowl has a pour spout, which I found really convenient for liquids. And, the lid snaps onto the bowl, which makes the bowl leakproof, so your stuff doesn’t go spraying all around! The three blades are sturdy, but the machine, stacked and snapped (a great design, no more twisting and turning to get pieces to line up), is surprisingly light weight. The stand has suction cups on the bottom, so it securely sits on the counter as you are shoveling all this food into it! And it is quick, quick, quick! Slices a cucumber in less than 5 seconds. And while I didn’t see anything in the owners manual about this, I discovered two finger size holes, one on each side of the two disks, that allow you to pick up. handle and wash the disks without getting sliced yourself.Oh, I almost forgot. Even though the operating buttons, including the pulse button, are labeled, there are photos right on the machine of food sliced, shredded, and chopped, so there is no guessing about which function to use. Very pleased with this processor, and super happy that it sits on my kitchen counter.

This is the third food processor that I have owned and, by far, the best. It fits nicely on the counter-top, and is easy to use and to clean. Mostly, I use this for food prep — chopping, etc. — it is so much faster and easier than using a knife and cutting board!

This Food Procscallessor is awesome, made a batch of fresh salsa, was so easy to make. I do a lot of canning and this is going to make my canning process so much easier. Also be able to slice potatoes for Au gratin casserole and so many other function!

I haven’t had a food processor in years and now I’m wondering why I waited so long to replace my old one.The great thing about this one is that it’s super easy to assemble and use. It did a good job of chopping vegetables for soup and slicing onions and potatoes. The large and small food chutes are very helpful when slicing different vegetables. Everything can go into the dishwasher which is going to make holiday baking so much easier this year. The only downside to owning this food processor is that it is fairly large and would take up some counter space if you can’t store it.All in all, this is a good food processor at a great price and I highly recommend it.

I received the Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap Food Processor and I can’t believe how easy it is to use! My favorite feature of this food processor is the sealed bowl with the pour spout, my old food processor didn’t have this feature and I often had things leak over and it was hard to pour into a bowl. I also love the stack & snap feature, you just set the bowl on, put the lid on top of that and snap it into place. I would definitely get this item again.

We used the food processor during Thanksgiving & Christmas dinners. It’s easy to use, does exactly as intended, ie sliced potatoes quickly, shredded our cheeses, diced up our onions, mixed our sweet potatoes. All family members helping us cook, used it and raved how fast and efficient our processor was. Really like the snap tight lids, no spill outs, sturdy, didn’t rock and roll all over the counter. Very pleased with this processor.

Just received my food processor, so I only had a chance to use once, but it’s quite a powerful little machine. It is also has a very large capacity. I made coleslaw using head cabbage, 2 carrots and half an onion. The shred was just like deli style coleslaw. The carrot shed was the best I’ve ever seen. Very impressed and if you have family members that don’t like onions the shed so fine, they will never know. The suction feet really anchor tightly to the counter so it can’t ” walk”. If you do a lot of food prep, slicing, dicing you can’t go wrong with this. Looking forward to making my own bread crumbs and chopping nuts for holiday baking. Well worth the price.

THIS IS A WONDERFUL PRODUCTS. NOW I DO NOT HAVE TO CHOP MY VEGGIES BY HAND ANYMORE. USE IT TO CHOP MY VEGGIES FOR MY STIR FRY. LOVE THE WAY IT CHOPPED THEM.

I’ve used other food processors in the past; my arthritis made them difficult to use. Not an issue here at all; this was easy to lock, easy to use, and easy to break down for dishwasher cleaning. Made some tasty potato chips, shredded carrots evenly, and grated a particularly hard piece of mozzarella cheese – no problem. I highly recommend.

This is a well built kitchen appliance. We got it because it’s an upgrade in size to the processor we have. It’s so nice to be able to put a whole fruit or vegetable (some not all) instead of always having to put prior. Plus the container is very large. It’s easy to set up and use. And comes with several attachments. We are so happy to have this in our kitchen.

This takes the work out of slicing and dicing.. I love to cook scalloped potatoes and potatoes in foil on the grill. This is perfect! I really appreciate the ease of cutting up my vegetables any way I need them. Perfect for making Western Omelet fixings and I’m sure as the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons are fast approaching I’ll find many other uses as well.

I have had it for less than a week and used it to make cole slaw the fine shred is awesome. I also made sweet potato puree as well as mashed potatoe puree. Then I used it to make chop for our parakeets. I have to say this food processor is great.

I gave thise machine a few uses before reviewing. I like the simple tabs to turn on, etc…the brushed exterior is pretty. This makes for a very easy to travel appliance…it’s base is remarkably light weight, I processed a varied bunch of veggies….best use for onions, peppers, etc. The denser veggies like green bananas/cassava set the machine a wobbling all over. So, for moderate veggies it works fine. The blades are good and sharp.

This is a powerful little processor. I say little but you have 12 cup capacity (dry) bowl that you use for the ingredients you need prepared. Oh, 8 cups for sauces or dips as well. There are 2 discs for shredding and slicing and of course the chopping blade so that is 3 blades total. This model you ‘snap’ together. So not twisting the parts together, you SNAP them in place. The safety features to me a dynamic. FIRST choose the blade or disc. ALL ARE SHARP so be careful. Definitely keep out of little hands. Place the bowl on machine that is not yet plugged in. Then blade or disc. I do a lot of fermentation using onions, carrots, cabbages and peppers. So I used the disc more. These are sharp and it is a fast process. Cabbage for kraut can be a labor but with this, just quarter the cabbage and place in hopper and you are done. BUT first the assembly.Put bowl on base UNPLUGGED. Disc you are using goes on the center shaft. Then place the cover and “snap” it on. You are ready to add your food. I plugged mine in at this point but you decide when. The bowl has pics on what blade/disc to use for what process (chop, slice, shred). There is a fill line on the food hopper. DON’T over fill as your processor will not work properly. Once you are ready and food is in hopper, push the button to process and you are done. Really it is that fast.OK the safety part. The lid MUST be snapped in place or it will not stay down and the processor will not run. The food pusher must be in place and able to go to at least the fill line or the processor will not run. You have a large food pusher and a smaller one that I use for carrots. Shreds carrots like a dream for my kraut. I love this processor and I have used several and even many blenders. This one is my favorite.Lightweight. Easy to Clean. Now there is one place between the food hopper and the bowl side that food can be caught in. Hey just gently nudge the food around with end of chopstick and it comes out clean. Then you can wash it cleanly. That is only area I had trouble cleaning and it was very little problem but needs to be mentioned. Blades clean up easily. Bowl cleans up nicely. Wipe down to base and you are done. Easy. Stores easy too if you want to do that. Love the buttons on front down at an angle so I don’t need to bend to see what I am pushing. The bowl is easy to handle and pours out the processed food easy too.YOU will love this one. You will really. I did not give 5 stars on everything because of the area that food can get caught in behind the food chute and the small (very small) difficulty cleaning that area. OTHERWISE it is FIVE (5) STARS

Haven’t had a chance to try all the features but am counting on it for holiday meals. While it is a little larger than I actually need it is very easy to use. Particularly like the easy assembly and disassembly (Stack and Snap) – no twist & lock . Blade use illustrations right on the unit makes blade selection and usage easy. Motor is strong and not particularly loud, at least compared to previously owned processors. Previously owned Hamilton Beach food processor that lasted many years. This is easier to use and it seems sturdy and I am counting on many years of worry free use. If I was to add anything it would be to include some way to safely store the blades when not in use.
