I have wanted a new food processor for awhile so I was very happy to select this food processor for review. This is not a paid review however I do keep the product. What I loved about this food processor was the ability to chop a lot of food rapidly and safely. I thought it was great for holiday cooking, parties and preparing food for dehydration. I was surprised by how much I also used it for smaller jobs. It is very easy to put together, use and clean. It comes with a very handy dicing cleaning tool that aids in cleaning the dicing grid. It also comes with an awesome storage unit for the blades. What is the biggest drawback is the size. It doesn’t fit in my cabinets easily so I have opted to keep it on my counter. This works well for me but if you are limited on space, it is something to consider. I have used it almost daily with no issues. The knead feature is a dream come true. It is great with rolls and cookie making. The locking arm makes it a breeze to close up. It looks impressive on my counter. I love it!

The Hamilton Beach Professional 14 Cup Dicing Food Processor has earned a place of honor in my kitchen. It is a powerful tool that saves me time in the kitchen by processing food fast and efficiently. My first experience was processing a bumper crop of zucchini; four pounds of zucchini were shred in under two minutes. It made about 13 cups. Perfect. I’ve since processed ingredients for hummus, pizza dough (dough blade), potatoes/onions (dicing attachment), and date energy bars. What I like:- Quick set up. Blades are labeled, buttons are clearly marked.- Built in safety features that prevent the motor from running unless the unit is properly assembled.- A full range of included accessories. – Unit is easy to wipe clean. Blades, bowl and lid are dishwasher safe but hand washing is just as convenient.Things to keep in mind:- The processor base is set on suction cups that are sufficient in keeping the unit steady most of the time. While mixing dough and chopping dates it was necessary to place my hand on the unit, to provide extra support, until the weight distributed. – Sufficient space is required to store the base, 14 cup bowl, and storage box (accessories). I recommend this product for home cooks (especially those cooking for larger groups), food preservers/gardeners, and meal preppers. It is a tool that works for you!

Taking this product out of the box was pretty intimidating by the size and all the many pieces that go along with this processor. After using the Processor once I found just how easy this machine is to put together and to use. The instruction manual comes with good instructions and the pictures on the processor itself helps getting to know how to use it and which attachments to use. Another great feature of this product is the accessory case for all the attachments. Conveniently stored in one case so the attachments don’t go missing. I found that removing food from the bowl of the processor was easy due to the pour spout. The only thing I would change with this processor was cole slaw. Because the cabbage had to be cut so small to be fed into the machine using the shredding disc made the cabbage pieces too small but using the slicing disc solved the problem so that is the method I will use next time and will recommend to anyone else. This machine is going to be such a time saver for me with meal prep which I do on weekends to make meal times much easier during the week. Thanks for a great well made product!

I LOVE this machine!!! This processor is VERY well built. It has a smooth operation and is super easy to use. The base has suction cups on the bottom for added stability and it comes with a storage hutch for the blades. The adjustable slicing blade is perfect for summer vegetables and the bowls is large enough for an entire head of cabbage (perfect for coleslaw). The dicing blade produces perfect cubes and can even handle a sweet potato. This processor has several built in safety features, including a handle that must be locked into place prior to starting usage. The user manual is clear, easy to follow and includes step by step drawings. It cleans very easily and the blade hutch holds everything! I could not have asked for a better, first time experience with a food processor!!

Received unit a few days ago and couldn’t wait to use. Made pasta using dough blade, still had to kneed but saved time. Also made fresh pjco de giao dicing blade made quick work of tomatoes, onions and chillies. Everything have made using food processor has reduced time and made everything uniform and looking delicious.

I received this from Hamilton Beach Ambassadors in exchange for a honest and fair product review. I was very impressed on the very sturdy construction. It makes cooking fun! So far I have made chocolate chip cookies and also used it to make Ratatouille. Simple to use … I highly recommend!

Ok, the title may be a bit extreme, but it did change my life. Here is how. I am your usual single dad trying to keep my kid and myself fed. Which means fast food or ordering from somewhere that delivers. The biggest reason is time. Something I don’t get anywhere close to enough of. And the last time I want to do is spend a good chunk of it is in the kitchen trying to make some crazy recipe that I found online that says prep time 5 minutes and winds up taking an hour cause I don’t have the right tools. Well let me tell you, this food processor is the right tool. It is big enough to take on anything I could throw at it, but not so big that I feel intimidated by it. It comes with extra blades and a holder for them that is really convenient. You got to get you one and try it yourself. Now my boy and me eat at home, save money and he even helps. Now if I could get him to do the dishes.

The Hamilton Beach Design Department should win an award for this appliance. The construction is really heavy duty. If you ever had a processor that you were concerned if the motor had enough power to process your recipe or if you had a processor who’s motor shaft had broken, this appliance should alleviate all your fears. The Hamilton Beach Professional Processor operates with digital control and is capable of handling ALL your processing needs.

This is a very large, well made, heavy duty food processor. I use it often in food prep for the seven people I cook for. The processor is held closed by a silver handle that goes over the top. Almost every piece breaks down into smaller pieces making sterilization very easy.

I received this a few weeks ago and, after a run through the dishwasher, tried it out last weekend. I shredded a head of cabbage in minutes and was pleased with how simple and quick the process was. I sliced a half-a-bag of carrots and then shredded the remaining half-a-bag. Again, fast, simple and the result was terrific. I really like the multiple blades and the adjustable slicing blade. The motor has plenty of power and the fact that the blades are mounted at the top of container is quite nice (especially for slicing). I’ll continue to try it on other thins and update the review accordingly. All in all, I highly recommend this product. It’s well- designed and well-built.

This is my first food processor. Since I retired, I have been learning to cook. The 14 cup machine is probably much more capable than I am. I read the booklet that describes the parts and tools and which to use for what, but I lacked the theory of operation to actually do something with it. I had to watch many food processor videos on the internet to gained the confidence to put it to work.Making a diced salad was fast and easy with the dicing tool. Great results. I found the cleaning tool for the dicer difficult to align and being smaller than the grid itself, needs to be moved around precisely to push everything through.Slicing was quick and easy. Most of my slices came out with diagonal thickness instead of uniform until I learned to fill the push tubes tightly with product, side by side, as to hold it straight up.I shredded carrots and they came out terrific in seconds. I tried to shred lettuce and made a big mess. I ended up chopping it with a few pulses instead.Chopping and the chopping blade are my favorite. I use a lot of chopped onions and celery. I dread doing onions with a knife. This processor took care of both in seconds. In fact, I was able to make tuna salad faster and easier than ever, letting the machine do all the mixing from can to bowl. No more beating it to death with a fork. The chopping blade is my new friend and will be what I use the most with this machine.I think I would be better suited with a smaller or mini model. I don’t process the amounts of food this 14 cup can handle. This is too big for my counters and I have to store it away when not in use. I would probably lose the dicing capability if I went small though, and that would be missed. When it comes to cleaning, if there is a nook or cranny or crevice somewhere, it is sure to get itself lodged with some sort of food shrapnel. There was no mention of it but there is handy cord storage into the rear of the machine. Below the cord storage is another compartment, but I don’t know what it is intended for. The jury is out on the suction cup feet. I would prefer them gone but not if it interferes with the operation or stability of the machine.Caution: If you decide to carry the machine around by the large metal handle. It certainly looks durable enough to do so, but it is a two handed operation. One on the metal handle and the other on the mixing bowl handle. If not, the metal handle will swivel and the mixing bowl with lid and pushers will slide out and smash on the floor. This processor comes with a handy plastic tool box that is shaped like a recipe file box to keep all those sharp edges away from your fingers. I store the dicing tool and the chopping blade inside the bowl, though. The more food you need to process the more useful the food processor becomes. You must weigh the time to set it up, clean it, and store it away.

This is a massive heavy duty food processor. My wife loves it. I’m still trying to understand all that it does. It has so many tools/attachments that come with it–luckily, all of them come in their own well designed case to keep them handy. Someday I’ll have an idea how handy it is to have this item. It’s a little more than I bargained for. I like the three different chute size to choose from by placing inserts. It looks like it does a whole lot more than we’ll ever use–but it’s good to be ready for whatever she wants to do.

Works great. Easy to assemble, much better seal, without little chance of breaking bowl/lid clip on other brands. Will take some practice, but love all the blades! I’ve had all the big brands, that didn’t make the grade. Really pleased with this one. Have already recommended to others.

Works great and easy to use. Assembly for use is quick and easy. Great for kneading as well as slicing, dicing, etc . Has large and small chute options for different size food. Good safety features, must be fully assembled properly for the motor to run. Convenient case for storing all the blades. Easy clean-up, dishwasher safe.
