It has versatile controls that include vacuum and seal for traditional sealing, seal-only for making bags from rolls, and a pulse feature with adjustable high and low settings that give you more control for fragile foods. Normal seal allows for dry food vacuum sealing, and extended seal for moist foods. Stores roll and cuts bag to size.

I received my vacuum sealer last month. It is one of the best things I ever got!! I went grocery shopping and separated my large packages of meat into smaller portions and vacuum sealed them. My freezer looks so organized. The sealed packages take up less room in the freezer, it is easy to see what is in each package, and no freezer burn! I also buy produce and cheese in bulk and was able to create single use size packages with the Nutrifresh vacuum sealer and I have not had to throw anything away, which often happens when I just store things in plastic bags. Now, I not only look organized, I am saving money as well.

I was very surprised at how easy the Hamilton Beach NutriFresh vacuum sealer is to use. Since I have never used a vacuum sealer before I though I would have to make sure that I had the booklet in a safe place so I could refer to the instructions whenever I wanted to use it. Well, I opened the lid and every thing I needed to know is right there in pictures and easy to follow instructions. The unit came with pre-made bags and an 11″ X 25′ roll to make your own. I have not used the pre-made bags but I’m sure they will be as trouble free as the roll is. Since it is only my husband and I the 11″ bags are a little large for our needs so I purchased some 8″ X 25′ rolls. These are a perfect size for our household. I do prefer to purchase my meat in bulk at Sams and this vacuum sealer is perfect for that because I can package it in either single or double servings and not have to worry about it getting freezer burnt if I don’t use it right away. I am very, very happy with this product.
