Good overall and the incorporated features, but do wish that the lid or top piece, that you use to engage grinding,was more in design heavy duty, I foresee that if I am not VERY CAREFUL. with using to engage the bottom housing& motor, will with use chip or break if not used very gently with very light applied pressure every time, is this buy design?, to have to buy replacement$? I had this same sort of issue with another model of coffee grinders by brand name Krupp’s,cheaply or flimsy made, so will break over time, no matter how careful you are, so time? will tell.

I received this Coffee Grinder a little while ago. I used it to grind a bag of coffee beans and I am thoroughly pleased. The motor is sufficient to the task. The blades are sharp and produce the correct grind for the chosen setting. I like the ability to choose the grind and I especially like the removable cover and grinding chamber. This allows me to use this as either a coffee grinder or a spice grinder. All in all, I highly recommend this product.

The grinder is nicely designed and the perfect size for fitting into cupboards with lower shelf clearance. It is lightweight and easy to handle. The hidden cord is a great feature so you don’t have to wrap the cord with a twist tie. Using the grinder was so easy. It is quiet, easy to operate and the instructions are quite clear. The beans grind so fast and beautifully. I tried the grinder on both 4 cups and 14 cups, with coarse grind for my drip coffee maker, medium for my drip cone filters, and on fine for my steam espresso maker. The grinder is relatively quiet, which was a pleasant surprise. It did a great job on creating grounds with just the right consistency. I was especially pleased with the espresso grind. You don’t need to hold down the on/off button; it will automatically turn off when grinding is done. It took me a minute or two to realize that the measuring lines and lock/unlock were on the back of the grinder, rather than on the front with the controls. Securing and removing the cover was easy. The only tricky part was removing the grinding chamber. It fits very well in the mechanism, but was difficult to remove with the ground coffee inside. I made sure to unplug the grinder first. It takes a bit of pressure to pull up the chamber, and several times I had coffee grounds all over the counter. This happened most often with the 10-14 cup measure. You definitely need to use the clean brush to get all the grounds out of the grinding chamber when using the fine grind. Overall, this is a terrific product and an asset to any kitchen. You couldn’t ask for a nicer product.

Pros: small, quiet, automatic, fairly even grind, and no MESS. Everything is self contained and is great for travel.Cons: coarse grind isn’t as coarse as I had hoped. For the average drip coffee drinker this grinder works fine. I wanted a grinder to use for cold brew and french press. This grinder isn’t the best choice for those types of brews. Due to COVID-19 and the price, I’d rather not revisit the store for returns, but under normal circumstances I would have returned this item and kept searching due to my needs.

It’s been a long time since I’ve used a grinder because grinders of years gone by were always too hard to clean & didn’t really work very well. This one is a great improvement! Love that the grinding chamber has measurement indicators for both coffee beans & spices. The chamber being removable with the cleaning brush stored right with the unit makes for easy removal of ground items & easy cleaning! I only wish the power cord was self-retracting, but that is very minor. Overall, this is a great product!!

Hamilton grinder is really great. I can grind nuts, herbs, coffee beans….the other thing that has been to tough so far is licorice sticks. But it is an amazing machine and worth every penny.
