THIS IS THE BEST STOCKING HOLDER I HAVE EVER USED. I HAVE A WOOD STAIR RAILING AND HAVE USED EVERYTHING TO HANG OUR STOCKINGS THERE LEAVING SCRATHES ON THE RAILING. They worked great and looked so festive! We used four of them to hold a cafe curtain rod to hang all the way across the mantel. Then we took decorative hooks to hang our 9 stockings off the cafe rod. Very sturdy and no worries of other types of very heavy stocking holders falling onto kids heads.

We’ve only had these for one season, but don’t see them failing for a good long time. They are much larger than I expected. However, the size is exactly as stated and can see where they would be capable of holding up to 10 Lbs.
