I am a metalworker. I need locking pliers, so I got these. These locking pliers were a good deal. The locking mechanism works flawlessly. These are just the right size for my metalworking projects, I do not need huge locking pliers. Much better than the Irwin Vise-grips. These are a quarter of the price of the Irwin set but better quality and overall a much better deal!
