I’ve only used the 16 and 18 GA nailers. They work well, but it would be better if they’d sink the brads a bit deeper. When I trim, I use a single tank Senco compressor which did well with my old Porter-Cable guns. I’m not going to buy a pancake compressor. None of them can keep up while framing.

I received this Kit on 10/29/2018 and use the guns everyday. They are very comfortable to hold and use. Easy to load. Fires every time and no jams. They work so well for me that I ordered another Pneumatic gun – HDXFR2190, Pneumatic 3-1/2 in. 21 Degree Full-Head Strip Framing Nailer and received it on 11/26/2018. It works just as well as the others. I highly recommend these guns to everyone.I have used nail and staple guns for 50 years. I build custom made campers and trailers, home remodeling and hobbies. If your tools are taken care of as they should be they will last 20 or more years. Oil your Pneumatic tools every time you use them, do not rapid fire (place each shot where you want it to go). Enjoy them as I do mine.

Please note that I can’t speak to the stapler, but after some time spent with these guns, I’d say the 16G and 23G are great, and the 18G is terrible. I’ve not had a single misfire with the two former guns; every shot goes in straight. The 18G is underpowered and has an obnoxious safety- Shots angled into any manufactured wood (MDF, particle board) are highly likely to ricochet out and miss. Every now and then, the gun shoots a weak shot that subsequently jams the next nail. I plan on purchasing an 18G of a different brand, but continuing to use the other three guns.

I am a professional cabinet maker and trim carpenter.Stop looking. This is the combo you want.I purchased this set for much less than it’s listed price 2 years ago on sale around Christmas in my local store. They lasted me until now. I never oiled them, tossed them around, abused them for nearly 2 years. The only part I replaced was the strike blade on the 16 gauge nailer. I cannot recommend them enough. I’ve had much more expensive Hitachi and Senco nailers before that did not last this long. As long as Home Depot sells this combo kit I’m happy to buy it again and again.
