This brad nailer is made of die-cast aluminum for a lightweight design that is easy to handle. The trigger (paddle) is thin, and is padded rubber grip for better comfort.. The gun has a reload indicator so you will know when the side-load magazine is running low.of nails. The exhaust port is adjustable in a 360-degree so you can direct air away from your face and away from your projects. The magazine can load up to 100 piece capacity. One nice feature is the air fitting has a dust cap when storing it or while is disconnected it will keep dirt or debris from getting in the nail gun. The brad nailer is compatible with all brands of 18-gauge 3/8 Inch – 2 Inch brad nails.Only found two negative side to the nail gun there isn’t any adjustment for the depth of the brad nail so you will have to adjust it with the air pressure. The second is if the brad nail jambs there is no quick way to access the firing mechanism to remove the brad nail. I haven’t experience any misfires but they will happen sometime in the future. All in all it’s a nice brad nailer.. It’s a good for the DIY, for a true professional they might upgrade to higher end one. For the small jobs around the house it’s perfect for me!

Bought during a special buy. Works well. no jams. The only con is the tip lacks a plastic sleeve. leaves dents in softer woods. good for the occasional user. Pros will miss features on higher quality guns.

Nailer worked great on my small project. I don’t plan to use it a lot so that’s why I went with the HDX brand. It does tend to leave small marring marks, nothing some touch up paint won’t fix though.

Bought this for the young man to use that helps me at my house. Worked really well for all sorts of moulding and trim. Brads are almost unnoticeable. You can’t beat the price, I’m surprised it was so nice and reasonable.. I do have the advantage of borrowing an air compressor from my job and the hook up was easy with no issues. Great purchase.

I’ve used this 18g brad nailer now to drive a few hundred brads, both 1 1/2″ and 3/4″. Thus far the only material I’ve driven into has been pine and plywood, but the results so far are great. I haven’t had a single jam or half-driven brad. Although I haven’t measured it, I’ve eyeballed the depth of the brad nails when driven in and it looks like they go in beneath the wood surface about 1/8″. Excellent for my needs. The spring/contact tip on this model doesn’t have a rubber boot on it but the spring depresses easily enough that it really doesn’t mar the wood. For anyone interested in details, I’m using a compressor regulated to 90PSI, 3/8″ hose with all 1/4″ fittings. The brads I’m using are a store brand from a home repair store with a thing for green, but I wouldn’t hesitate to buy any brand given how cleanly these generic brads are working. If you’re making fine furniture, you might want to invest in a more expensive brad nailer, but if you’re fixing up your house, installing trim, or doing basic woodworking that isn’t going to be sold for high dollar, this nailer seems to be an excellent investment. If it does wear out after a year of heavy use, I could just buy a new one and still have invested less than I would have if I had bought a more expensive nailer in the first place.

Great deal a nice tool for the money. No jams after 850 nails . May not be what a pro installer would use but works good so far and a great price. I think it was a deal.

I wanted to make a lot of bird houses with my son and I had to get this nailer to simplify the procedures. I arrived early and in excellent condition.

Pros:- cheap but mostly well-made- sturdy and reliable. Very consistent and no misfires yet.- accepts a variety of brad lengths. Versatility is a huge win!- dust cap. Nice added touch, especially since this lacks a carrying case.Cons:- lacks a non-marring tip. Coupled with the very stiff and wide WCE (safety mechanism), I would not recommend using this on softer woods or anything already finished. This is such a glaring issue that it’s really tempting to remove the WCE (A MAJOR SAFETY NO-NO)- stiff WCE. The action is way too stiff, especially for not having a non-marring tip. I shouldn’t have to use significant force to depress the safety.- exposed latch on the magazine rail. Seems begging for misalignment or other damage in the future.- super small print on the rail for psi and brad information.Overall, can’t beat it for the cost -it actually is a well made nailer- but I cannot emphasize enough that this thing NEEDS a non-marring tip. If it had the non-marring tip this would easily be a 4 or 5 star item.
