Lightweight, easy to use, nails in extremely tight quarters. Just right for joist hangers.

Gets the job done on smaller nails up to (tico) joist size, but will takes many hits compared to a full size palm nailer. Very sensitive to start.

This mini palm nailer came in very handy when building our deck. The areas we needed to get into were too tight for a hammer or any other automated tool. This palm nailer saved us a lot of time and headaches.

I have a limited number of pneumatic tools, since I just bought my compressor a year ago. So I thought this little nailer might be a nice addition to my arsenal. The HDX mini-palm nailer fits my hand perfectly, isn’t heavy, and (after a little practice) drives a variety of nails with relative ease. It’s surprisingly quiet, and is the perfect option for driving nails in areas where space is at a premium, and you can’t use a traditional hammer. Eliminates a lot of swinging and wear and tear on your hands during a framing project. The only reason I deducted a star was due to the fact that some nail heads are a bit too large and won’t fit into the nailer’s nose. For most applications, however, a very handy tool!

I used it to install several dozen joist hangers and it made life easy. Much faster than using a hammer and no sore arm when I was finished. I dont think you can beat it for the price. Great little tool.

Won’t hold a 16 penny nail holes too small description says it would. And the center is way off. Wants to press nails crooked and at Angle..

Wear Gloves with Padding. This little nailer is deceiving. It packs a punch that puts nails where they are suppose to be. Deep in the wood. I have not had much experience with a palm nailer, but I love this little rascal. I am use to using a framing nailer and there have been many times where I could not get the nailer in to drive a nail let alone a hammer. Now with this little tool no place is inaccessible. I was sure surprised at the power this tool has. I am not use to the vibration so that is why I say wear gloves with padding. I was using it to get a feel for it and my hand went to sleep due to the vibration. This is for those places you cant get a framing gun, not to drive every nail although I guess you could do it, I do think it is a good investment. I like the way it fits in my hand and the power it has. It fits in my tool belt so when I need it I have it, Pop off the framer and pop on the palm nailer and away you go. In a tight place it cannot be beat. A plus to any DIY’er tool belt.

Seems to work well and do what its suposed to. I’ve only tested it, never used it for real work yet. Not for finnish work because it does leave tool marks on the surface. 4 stars just because i have’nt used it for real, so dont know how it will do

Wouldn’t fit the head of roofing nails

This little thing works like a hammer. You just hold it in place and it knocks on the nail. It will vibrate while you have pressure on it. I find that I have to hammer the nail in a little afterwards to make it flush with the board. Just a couple of hits no big deal. Our nail gun is in the shop so this little gadget is helping finish the job. Its a good buy for little projects. The price is right as well.

This thing is pretty dang amazing for its size! Smaller than a tennis ball, larger than a golf ball. Literally, I can’t think of a location where this little guy wouldn’t fit! Only thing I would add is maybe a few low profile eyelets so a strap could be added ?

This Nailer was great to use and the price was fantastic. Used it for a few hundred nails on our first project and it worked flawlessly. If it was to never work again it would be OK as it really helped in tight places. Surprising how fast the nails went into the wood with very little pressure on your hand.
