Very pleased with this purchase. Forged Premio is an entry level block set, with an affordable price, and all the qualities that higher priced sets have. the knives are made with German steel, and have a forged bolster which adds weight and balance to the knife. I love the comfort in the rounded styling, as well as the well thought out assortment of knives. Happy that this set includes a carving knife which was not included in my previous set. The steak knives are a great addition and make this one purchase complete.

This knife block is a good buy for the price. The blades are forged, and feel like they’re good quality. The handles are shaped well to fit in your hand, but the material doesn’t feel as premium as the higher priced knives. Still a good value for the price point.

First, for context, I would consider myself a more a home cook than a chef. The knives look amazing and the block is streamlined to take up little space on the counter. The knives came out if the box sharp and feel good in the hand. Light weight but you still feel fully controlled. A few dishes in and they are truly living up to the Henckels name. Great purchase, would recommend

The Forged Premio 14pc knife set comes fully loaded with all the basic knife blades as well as steak knives. The triple riveted handle with the silver detailed end cap adds a nice classic touch. I would recommend hand washing although they are dishwasher safe.

The knives are great! I love the shape and feel of the handles, and the knives included in the set cover the range of common kitchen uses (though it could also use one longer 5″-ish parer – I ended up ordering one solo to complete my set). The block is smaller so does not take up too much space on the counter, but is sturdy in its shape so doesn’t tip. My one complaint, and this is because I’m a little OCD when it comes to these things, is that I wish the knives fit better into their slots. For the steak knives in particular, the slots are a little too wide so the knives have room to wiggle back and forth.
