They are a decent value for the price I paid. Incredibly sharp out of the box. My only complaints are that my order stayed as “order being processed” until the day it was shipped (which was the company that was shipping it out and not Home Depot), and that the blades scratch very easily.

I have always loved Henckles knives. When outfitting my kitchen i knew this was the way to go. These knives are super sharp and make food preperation a breeze. I love having a full set ready to go on my counter. I also love the color of the block. Not too light, not too dark. It adds a warmth to my kitchen. Having all of the steak knives included is also a big plus for my. I love everything matchy matchy.

Added bonus are the steak knives, if you have some, great addition when you need extra, and if you don’t have steak knives, they are great to have! These are a good gift idea as well for those just leaving the nest, or for the couple just starting out.

Every new at-home chef’s necessity.Having previously had a set of Henckel’s knives for about 15 years now, I was interested in seeing what they had available in today’s market. I picked up these and haven’t been disappointed. Not only did it come with about 15 different knives, it includes a sharpening piece and a pair of shears. Now the price may seem expensive but it’s not; it comes out to about 10 dollars a knife. A really good value. This comes with a set of knives that are full tang(so they’re sturdy), they’re lightweight and easy to sharpen. It comes with any type of knife you might need from a paring knife to the big Chef’s knife and everywhere in between. It even has 6 steak knives, great for families. I also love how these knives are well balanced. The wooden storage block is even a medium-dark brown, instead of the typical oak. As a bonus, they even come pre-sharpened. They easily dice up the toughest of vegetables, even hard squash. Love this set of knives, it is a great addition to any kitchen.
